The most likely scenario is that Gatehouse has an incorrect or outdated email address, or the email was delivered to your spam folder. |
| Just sharing as someone who already posted back on page 1 that we got the email, wanted to add that we got neither a letter nor cogat score in today’s Wed. envelope. |
|
Why does FCPS do this?
Just load the scores up to SIS on the same day as the in pool email. This shouldn't be such a ridiculous process of school to school. |
So far 2 people claim that they had a score over 132 and were not notified of being in-pool. |
| just got our cogat score, Haycock. |
| I checked my Spam, Trash and my husband’s email and there was no email. We get all the other emails from both my daughter’s school and Fairfax County, so don’t think it’s an email address issue. |
I'd ask your AART about this. |
Then contact your AART. Your child should be in pool, so maybe there was some sort of clerical error at Gatehouse where they omitted your child's name or your email address from their list. |
Aren’t they both Oakton pyramid, interesting. |
| Did anyone from Westgate get an email or the score? This is infuriating. We should all have the same information on which to base our referrals, |
You are not going to mention your kids test scores in your referral. You have been planning on referring anyway, because you did not know if the in-pool decision was going to be announced before the referral was due. So just submit your referral. You should be submitting it even if your kid is in-pool. |
It is frustrating, but parent referral is not “based on” test scores. Test scores will be in the packet. Parent referral is to provide the information not in the packet, not captured by test scores. You are mistaken if you think you need test score somehow for parent referral. I say this as a parent eager to see a score, still haven’t, but realize it is not really what the parent part is about. |
| Any Wolftrap parent received an email? |
NP. Test scores may not be needed for a parent referral, but it helps knowing what to emphasize and where you may need to gap-fill. |
| Exactly. |
