| hmmm that board document posted earlier said in-pool notification is done by the local schools and occurs this week? |
|
Anyone from GFES get an email? |
| SEES pyramid. Email is from the central office. |
| Darn, my kid got a 131 on NNAT, was really hoping a CoGat subset would get her in pool. No email, oh well. |
So you do a parent referral. |
| what the heck is the SEES pyramid? |
I think it’s possible that they are sending the emails in “batches”. I mean I can still hope. |
DS had a 130. Really hoped CoGAT would be higher, but alas. Finishing up my parent referral tonight. |
I think the poster meant Springfield Estates Elementary School and has some overblown identity. It’s a school, not a pyramid. |
|
Who gets the email? I get some FCPS emails, DH gets others. I'm not sure what list I'm on that he isn't on or what list he got on that I didn't but we don't get the same emails. I get the News You Choose and some other thing. |
|
I wonder if schools with own special norms under new process are the ones who got notified tonight?
Any perennial top performing schools send letters tonight? I'm thinking Franklin Sherman, Great Falls ES, Haycock, Canterbury Woods, Waynewood, Mantua, Churchill Road? |
| My DD got 137 on the NNAT. We did not get an email. |
| Anyone from Madison pyramid? |
This gives me hope bc surely that will get you in pool. |
| This means the schools have the cogat scores. Some kids who scored less in NNAT but more than the cutoff in Cogat are in pool. So we see some emails give to kids who scored less than 132 NNAT score. They can’t generate the pool without the cogat score. |
