Seriously. Unfortunately more and more drivers are behaving aggressively. Too many reckless speeders and tailgaters is why we have so many fatalities.

No the reason we have accidents is because people hang out in the left lane, people are forced to pass on the right, those trying to exit hit those passing. If you stay to the right and all passing is on the left it prevents grandma from getting in an accident.

I find only in America do people do this. Where I am from you stay to the right and pass in the left. But America is very ME ME ME about everything so people spite drive.

Because the DC beltway is almost always clogged in all lanes. Your idea of a free left lane is a total fantasy. You're crazy and selfish for wanting everyone else to squeeze over during rush hour so you can keep going 90.

I did notice when driving in Germany that not a single car would pass on the right in any lane. With no speed limits it would probably be suicidal to pass unpredictably, plus police must be enforcing that strictly. It is also interesting that most cars there would use the left lane for a quick pass only but there were still a few which would drive at like 150 mph in the left lane for miles.

Even if you thought someone was being an aggressive crazy, why block them? If I see someone zooming up behind me, I give them space to weave around me, or move away and go on their way.

I usually have my kind in the car and keeping him safe is my number one priority. Trying to play enforcer means I'm more likely to get hit, putting him at risk. Nope. I'm always getting out of the way.

I only go in the left lane to pass but FYI excessive speed IS a huge factor in accidents and you’re idiotic to pretend like the real and only problem is people going only give miles over the speed limit in the left lane. -worked in a trauma unit for years seeing the aftermath of road accidents and thinks most of the posters on this thread are dumbf*cks
