I agree but I think it’s more than that. It’s a way to look their version of professional but not threatening. I think they know that to their base they’re more palatable in these positions as long as long as they look feminine.

Stilettos—which most Trump women are not really meant for walking; they are meant for posing (like under a lamppost). It’s why you see women wearing stilettos at red carpet events or even on talk show guided on the arm of someone so they don’t trip or fall. If they’re wearing stilettos to work, they’re pretty sure of the terrain they will encounter.

I seem to remember posts on here praising the fact that Nancy Pelosi still rocks stilettos. Her tapered pants here would also look better cropped. And that tank under her blazer looks like an undershirt.

No way. She looks powerful, rich, pulled together, a little glam, and totally in charge. The Trump women look like they are doing office cosplay, badly, and are really just hoping Trump will look up from his twitter and say their kidneys look good today.

Nancy’s suit is fierce.

To be clear though no woman should wear stilettos. They are a stupid invention.

This is fine (dare I say even tasteful and appropriate!) for an outdoor, summertime event that will involve lugging boxes.

It’s fine, but I have the dick vandyke show theme song in my head now.

And damn, Ivanka got herself some wicked highlights. Did quarantine teach us nothing? Embrace your roots as dark as they may be!

I agree the box moving outfit is fine...but I was really hoping this all would inspire Ivanka to grow out the brown. It was looking so promising.

There's an entire thread about it called Kellyanne Conway.

Are slingbacks really out? They are cooler than regular shoes for summer and so much easier to walk in than slides. I like a slingback.

Wear a slingback! Just don’t wear it with 50s drag unless you like the vintage vibe. Also don’t be Ivanka.

Happy Juneteenth from the Big House!

To celebrate our nation’s checked past of race relations, she wore black and white checkered shoes—b/c yes, she takes fashion very literally.

It’s a fuchsia suit with hot pink stilettos and a tight white tank top. Fierce is not what I’m seeing.

I also don’t like Ivanka’s slingbacks.

I love the newspaper casually sitting there.
