To celebrate our nation’s checked past of race relations, she wore black and white checkered shoes—b/c yes, she takes fashion very literally.

I love the newspaper casually sitting there.

Happy Juneteenth from Versailles. Let them eat cake!

All different now? Meaning she’s no longer a birther?

Slingbacks are classic.

I agree but I think it’s more than that. It’s a way to look their version of professional but not threatening. I think they know that to their base they’re more palatable in these positions as long as long as they look feminine.

Stilettos—which most Trump women are not really meant for walking; they are meant for posing (like under a lamppost). It’s why you see women wearing stilettos at red carpet events or even on talk show guided on the arm of someone so they don’t trip or fall. If they’re wearing stilettos to work, they’re pretty sure of the terrain they will encounter.

I seem to remember posts on here praising the fact that Nancy Pelosi still rocks stilettos. Her tapered pants here would also look better cropped. And that tank under her blazer looks like an undershirt.

No way. She looks powerful, rich, pulled together, a little glam, and totally in charge. The Trump women look like they are doing office cosplay, badly, and are really just hoping Trump will look up from his twitter and say their kidneys look good today.

Nancy’s suit is fierce.

To be clear though no woman should wear stilettos. They are a stupid invention.

It’s a fuchsia suit with hot pink stilettos and a tight white tank top. Fierce is not what I’m seeing.

I also don’t like Ivanka’s slingbacks.

I love Nancy. LOVE NANCY. Her fashion is fantastic. I wish she would wear a better bra that would hike up her bust. An inch higher would do so much.

Is that a screenshot from her Juneteenth video? If so, Roomrater would give her a 3/10 at best. Move the camera closer. Add some art and a plant.

Agree that was the first thing I noticed. Curious if they are fake- they look low but really full for her age. And feeling gross for wondering!

You're forgetting... Melania doesn't do "plants" so good.

No, it's a book by an AA author about the original Juneteenth. Although I was thinking, boy were those former slaves in for a rude shock.

I still have a hard time with that thick accent on a first lady. Anyway, she sure didn't show up in Tulsa.

It’s overly posed in a sterile surrounding—more like:

Same. I wish the floor were bare marble instead of whatever green carpet. The trees would look so much better if all the surrounding surfaces were cold and unforgiving.
