Stealing from a Black woman who taught at Yale well before his DEI-admitted self got there. Now who is that likely to impress? Let me give that some thought. |

I hope he does get the nomination. His charisma alone will be a help to the Democrats. My worry is that Trump will bow out for one reason or another — as soon as we reach the point where Vance would be able to run for 2 more terms. As a sitting president , that would give Vance an edge that none of us deserve. |
I detest Vance and adore bell hooks, but that article was weak. I can’t even tell what we’re supposed to be seeing in the book covers? The font on the first book’s title looks the same or at least similar but otherwise I don’t see any similarities? My theory: the first one was semi-intentional or at least subconsciously informed by seeing hooks’s book around (whether by Vance or the publisher, sometimes book titles rely surprisingly little on the author’s wishes), but the second one is coincidental. After all, I can think of at least one other book called Communion (the Whitley Streiber one about aliens in the 80s, which freaked me the eff out as a kid!), and the term has an obvious relationship to Catholicism. |
No, it's not coincidental. He's riding on her SEO or trying to eliminate it. |
You vote on charisma? No wonder |
Possibly, but surely someone at a publishing house has the very easy job of searching potential titles— to avoid confusion and lawsuits? So someone knew about the similar titles and signed off on it — even if they somehow didn’t realize how well known bell hooks and her books are. |
Lawsuits not an issue. There’s no copyright on titles. But avoiding confusion, yes. |
Clearly America votes on charisma or else we wouldn’t have a game show host con man as our president. |

This man just makes no effort to appear genuine in the least. That's my beef. He doesn't even bother. He takes us all for idiots. I wish he'd put more effort into his acting. |

This is insane!
JD Vance arrives in Hungary to back Orbán's re-election bid ““US Vice-President JD Vance has travelled to Budapest to back veteran Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, a key European ally of the Trump administration, ahead of tough parliamentary elections on Sunday. Vance is expected to take part in a joint press conference before addressing an election rally with Orbán in a football stadium on Tuesday afternoon. The 12 April election is billed as Orbán's toughest challenge in a political career going back almost 40 years. He has won four elections in a row since 2010. Vance and his wife Usha were welcomed by Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó who told Hungarian media that Orbán's friendship with President Donald Trump had created a "new golden age" in relations.” https://apple.news/AR_HuUmaqQ_ePJU86SKQicA |
Usha, girl, what are you thinking? |
Whoring herself out for money and power. |
