Not PP, and the text says that Trump is either a "cynical a-hole" like Nixon or "America's Hitler". Neither one really makes it seem like 2016 Vance would embrace Trump, but in all fairness it does still leave some room that Vance doesn't consider Trump to be the same as Hitler.

Regardless, Vance seems like a hypocrite without scruples.

In his book, he states it’s because someone told him he wouldn’t get a job unless he went to a top law school. He was right, but that makes him an “elitist” despite his populist persona.

Anyone here from Ohio? Does Tim Ryan have a chance in hell of winning this thing? Or is it completely hopeless and us liberals should just accept that the next senator from Ohio will be whoever the Republicans nominate? If that’s the case then I’m pulling for Vance. He’s gotta be better than Mandel, right?

I’m from Ohio. I’m hopeful for Ryan. I’ll have a pretty clear idea by August.

Yes it’s 30th. But Yale is 1st. Did he ever go on to practice law?

I don’t fault him for choosing the best law school to which he was admitted. That’s what most people do. Plenty of other reasons to dislike him.

He may have been mistreated as a child, but his mother made $100,000/year as a nurse at one point and his high school is a typical LMC/MC suburban high school.
