Yes. I’ve had no issues with United so far but after seeing their stats, I’m considering switching my FEHB plan before open enrollment ends Monday.

I’ve had a pretty good experience with my Federal BCBS plan for over a decade now.

I think we are lucky that the federal plans are better than some of the junk plans employers are willing to contribute toward in the private sector. For instance my births (including some extra high risk monitoring and a NICU stay) only cost me about $200/each.

When I hear about some families getting thousands of dollars in medical bills after bringing a new baby home it makes me so irate. It shouldn’t break the bank for people to want to start a family. I wish all coverage had to be as good as FEHB.

In comparison, I have a HDHP and a NST costs $500/pop. I’m lucky my birth was all in the same year or else I would have had to start over next year to hitting my very high deductible. And before anyone says that was my choice to pick it, HDHP are the only thing my employer offers.

Yeah. I’m skeptical the real backpack would be left next to a busy carousel.

There are so many scenarios. The real backpack could be in the water and this one they found could be a decoy.

Or he met a helper in the park and the helper stuffed the backpack somewhere after killer changed clothes and appearance.

A helper could have walked out with backpack under a big winter coat.

Killer could have been wearing a prosthetic nose and wig and could have changed in the park. It’s not hard to change your appearance.
