Well I was yelling at the idiot who seems to think every woman's life is in jeopardy over this disgrace of an opinion. If you're posting on DCUM you're probably okay. |
So we should all sit down and shut up. Are you channeling Matt Gaetz on purpose or is that just a coincidence? |
Guess you didn't read my post. I was saying UMC white women need to stop making this about them and stand up for the people who will really be affected by this. Not everyone's life will be in jeopardy, but as a white feminist you need attention, huh? |
Okay. This isn't about me. I'll go pet my cats now, since that's all I should be doing. |
Hon, white women are the most powerful demographic in this country. And you think we should sit this one out? Are you trying to pull some sneaky trick as a pro-life poster? |
Except for the Chief position, it really doesn’t matter whose “seat” you are taking. The newest associate justice is always the lowest seniority unless he/she is directly confirmed as Chief from the outside like Roberts was. Roberts was nominated and then Rehnquist passed away while Roberts was awaiting confirmation so Bush was able to switch his nomination from associate justice to Chief and he was confirmed as Chief. By contrast Rehnquist was elevated from associate to chief, which requires confirmation, and then his replacement, Scalia, also had to go through confirmation. |
just don't be stupid. a ban on abortion is an attack on all women and if Roe is overturned, there will be an effective ban in many states. I am a white woman with two girls and I am appalled by this decision if it is confirmed and angry because it will damage all women. I dont see how you can say that UMC white women make this about them. this is idiotic. this is about all women. |
|
Wow
|
UMC white women sitting it out is what got us here |
Nope! you should be writing to your elected officials asking them to codify a woman's right to choose and give however much you can afford to an abortion fund. |
Yes, hon. Please sit this one out. You certainly didn't sit the 2016 election out and that's how we're in this mess. |
Oh, we're back to lashing out indiscriminately again? Good night. |
|
That’s the first step to banning contraception. Declaring life begins at fertilization means hormonal birth control (and non-hormonal IUDs) constitutes abortion since it can prevent implantation of a fertilized egg. Women on the pill or who have IUDs (which are the most effective form of non-permanent birth control) will be subject to criminal prosecution. |
Subpoena the journalist who received and let hackers follow the email and IP addresses. Can you imagine if pretrial Supreme Court writings were leaked? Besides the federal offense |
