How to achieve that neat clean look rich people have?

I think having straight hair helps a lot. I am curly

I’m curly and I’ve noticed it too. Most people I know who are UMC or rich style it straight/wavy, no matter their original hair texture. I get it. My face looks better when I straighten my hair, but the hair itself looks terrible. I hate having to choose.

When you are wearing Chanel, you look rich.

I hate that this is about weight, but it’s always about weight. Yes I’m type 2 before anyone harps on me taking medication from diabetics.

Yep. Being thin and small-breasted is a huge part of it. It is very hard to be elegant when you do not have this physique.

Moisturized skin. Mani/pedis (including on the men). And expensive makeup does look different from drugstore makeup.

This person has it right. It's the little things.

THIS. So much, this.

My hair will go straight and shiny, but the slightest breeze or hint of damp and it's all over. Even with professional blowouts; it's just the nature of my hair. I just look so messy and frazzled when this happens.

I've tried to embraced that this will happen so I try to clump the curls so they don't frizz out around my head and pull them back into a nice -- not messy -- bun.

Focusing on taking care of themselves. They don't need to take care of their house or children. They spend quality time at home, and with their children. They spend time on fitness and can afford enough quality vacations.

This^. Attractive people have it easy, it doesn't get much for them to look rich, get dates, find jobs. Heck, even as babies, they get more attention than an average baby.

100% and its not a priority for everyone. Warren Buffet or Usha Vance have no need to try to impress people.

I hate that curly hair will apparently never be in style again. I have objectively perfect curls (dark, shiny, fat ringlets. Think Julia Louis Dreyfus back in the day) but it's when I iron it straight that I get all the compliments.

This^ and they try the hardest to look wealthy with fancy clothing, brand bag on credit, luxury car on lease, hair, nails, heels etc.

OP, try to understand your need to look faux wealthy with a therapist.

Be thin, wear high quality clothing, and be perfectly groomed. A polished, classic haircut is key.

I have a daughter with beautiful curly hair and hope you are wrong. Well Maintained curls are stunning. I’m sure yours are too.

This thread is almost two and a half years old.

Melanin isn't dirty

What a telling comment from PP.
