What club is picking up the most NEW talent for next year?

Gotta be Spirit GDA, 04, 03

I heard those teams were rumored to have picked up a few. But don't know from where

I figure the 04 team could shed as many as 10 (25 down to 15), with perhaps a couple of those playing up. That would leave room for 5 new faces to make a roster of 20.

That type of shedding would make a Labrador Retriever jealous.

so they are going from bad to decent?

If the 04s pick up 3-4 above average players, they will be off and running.

The 03's are combining with the 02's. The current 02/01 age group at Spirit is the strongest. So they should be decedent. Heard some VDA 03's, which is a pretty strong team, where at ID sessions. Don't know if they will join or just testing the waters. Time will tell.

Any news on Arlington 04s and 05s?

Question: anyone notice any change in NTC composition recently?

There are a couple of 03s that are actually pretty strong, although the collective group isn't. The 02 group isn't as strong as the 01 side of that team (excepting gk and a pretty talented striker), so the combination will be interesting to see. With a talented gk, 3-4 solid field players from the 02s and 03s, that could be a solid team without any of the VDA girls.

What should be taken into consideration is that they have had to field a lot of 04s, in order to get the 04s playing time. There is no question that the 04 presence on that team has hurt its ability to compete in the win/loss sense.

It is true that the VDA 03 team started out pretty solid. They have lost 2 players (2 of their top scorers actually), and may lose more still. And yet Spirit 03s tied them all 3 times they played them. The 03 team definitely has some girls that don't belong at that level, but they also have a couple of girls who do.

Why not the boys too? Name another national platform on the boys side? There is not one. There you go.

Oh right! Because every PR statement is always 100% truthful. Said no one ever.

National platform outside of the DA = Boys ECNL. Year one, and they are all across the nation.

PR? You must not be following this story. There was an interview by SoccerAmerica with the FC Stars Director on why his club is leaving DA for ECNL.

Here you go

***more ECNL propaganda, Academy Director son plays and has played in the DA, good enough for his boy, but oh, not for his wallet.. I mean his girls club. And no he does not work for YNT hasn't for many many months. Unbelievable

O M G! You mean Mike Woitalla had something in his article that wasn't true? I thought he was a journalist, and journalists never have anything in their articles but the gospel truth. I'm shocked. What shall we do now without Soccer America to guide us?

Awww. What's wrong. Board did not like your ignorant nonsense?

Quit preaching/get off if you can't handle it.

Yes. It is 2018. If someone wants to post crap about moms and not get any push back, they need to find a different forum.

Not OP..., but

You're displaying bizarre behavior that has taken over the conversation on a forum that has nothing to do with your agenda.

The protestor tactic of screaming and stomping your fight until you get your way doesn't always work. Especially when the OP never said what you are claiming. Please, move on. Life is too short for this Nonsense.

DA is right for for boys.
ECNL is wrong for boys

Yet

DA is wrong fit for girls
ECNL is right for girls

This is what these dopes say and people find them credible. Nobody scratching their heads and calling them out on this?

I say the clubs should be forced to choice DA or ECNL across the board. Pick a format they believe in. What's good for the Goose is good for the Gander...no?

How does one "take over conversation" on an anonymous soccer forum? Converse about what you want to converse about.

Are we talking about the funded boys DA or the pay to play boys DA? Only the pay to play is analogous to the girls situation.
