More seriously, at the time the whole cats and dogs thing was going down, there were a bunch of factory owners who were interviewed about the Haitians. The owners were defending the Haitians and saying they were good workers who showed up on time and sober.

That tells the truth about the rest of the workforce available. It’s a bad generalization but there it is.

There’s been a grant at OVW that addresses abuse of people with disabilities. They are disproportionately abused, physically and sexually, and the grant had an approach to bring community groups together to address it. It’s been decimated.

A lot of white Republican voters are on SNAP and Medicare and Medicaid. They are really finding out right now if they live in a red state.
