Fire in upper NW?

In an off-camera interview, Gutierrez says an assistant was scheduled to drop off the cash to be used for the opening of a martial arts center in Chantilly, Virginia. The housekeeper says she spoke with the person who was supposed to make the delivery and he confirmed he dropped it off at the house Thursday morning.

This is either the worst attempt at covering up a crime or the greatest coincidence of the 21st century

Another thing, I saw the cameras on the outside of their home. They saw the person or persons at the front door/back door on their monitors. They recognized whomever it was and felt comfortable letting them in. Could be they were expected but no one knew of their bad intentions.

I see everyone coming up my driveway and knocking on my door. I speak to them through an intercom. I NEVER open my door to anyone unless I know them and am expecting them. No one can enter my backyard without me knowing and giving them permission. There is no reason for anyone to enter my backyard at all. My utilities are outside of my privacy fence.

I'm not even wealthy. If I were, I'd have my whole place locked down so hard even a fly buzzing around would sound an alarm.

We do too.

I am not on Team The Housekeeper Was In On It, but she needs to stop talking to the press and gossiping about this with other people who are involved with this family and may have knowledge of this case. If she is involved, she is making it really easy for people to catch her in a lie by talking to the fucking press so often. If she's not involved, she is not doing herself or the investigation any favors.

Why wouldn't you use a cashier's check instead? I'm not regularly paying people $40,000, so I don't know... Can't you make a cashier's check for that much? Can't anyone just cash a cashier's check, no problem...?

This!! How does this woman have so many connections with his family? The mom called her, she talked to the assistant and verified that her dropped off the money? Why would SS even tell her about a 40K drop? so weird!! Sounds like she is very very involved in their lives to just be a housekeeper.

Why did Savvas need 40K in cash for an opening at his martial arts center? Makes no sense at all.

Maybe it was a cash payment to a contractor or subcontractor?

who lets their assistant transport $$ like that without thinking about safety?

Why would anyone leave that much money on the front stoop ? NOBODY deals with cash anymore.

Overloading the details

When a person has come prepared to lie, he or she may go into an extraordinary amount of details to make their point. They may pick up some obscure point and go on harping about that, instead of sticking to the main topic of conversation. This elaboration of insignificant details, is often a sign that a person is trying to hide something.
