| Does Briar Woods even have a chance tonight vs. Indy? |
| Their goalie may be able to keep it from getting too out of hand. |

Surprised by the Langley and Yorktown margins of victory. Anyone have observations from those games? |
FWIW, Independence and Briar Woods share 50% of their games as a common opponent, Loudoun County. Both teams beat LC, Independence won 17-2 and Briar Woods won 9-7. LC barely lost to what appears to be a continuing to improve Lightridge 9-10. 5-6 goals margin seems likely but maybe there's some personnel match ups that had the human predict +8. |
| 3 from Yorktown is starting to find his stride... |
|
Langley has learned to play without the guy they lost to injury. They might be in the mix after all.
|
Easy there... They beat a SL team that started multiple freshman and a goalie who played his first varsity game last night. SL's best attackman went down for the year against Forrest Park so they were limited on offense, only #15 could handle the ball. Score was 5-0 at half, 2-0 after 1. SL's defense was giving langley fits and the SL goalie was making some big saves. It wasn't till late in the 3rd and 4th that the lack of depth on defense and the 85% possession time for Langley busted the game open. Not saying Langley isn't a good team just that SL isn't the same team they've been with the past staff/players. |
| Like the PP said I wouldn't take much from the Langley South Lakes game. Langley playing without a lot of guys. Sounds like South Lakes was too. |
