Who knows, but assuming it is true, this is just a function of the other coaches in the district being wieners. Quite frankly, it does not surprise me. I have seen so much bad behavior, poor sportsmanship, and whining from some of the coaches in that district when things don’t go their way. The oakton coach seems to have a hall pass with the refs when it comes to standing on the field and crying like a baby whenever his team is losing. Doesn’t surprise me that he would use similar brow beating/bullying tactics with the other coaches when it came down to all district selections.

Interesting. Would’ve expected to see more Yorktown here given their performance in district games.

Publicly blaming bad outcomes on the coaches is sure to boost a player's recruiting stock. Well done.

You think college coaches are coming to this forum to read anonymous comments to attribute them to the player or parent of a player and then not recruiting that player?

Of course not, but I know for a fact that some coaches are aware of what's said here and that college coaches will ask high school coaches about player and parent character. I just don't understand what advantage someone thinks there is to constantly pumping up a player on here and also blaming his defense (which happened a couple weeks ago) and coaches for bad results. It's a bad look and does the player a disservice.
