Boente's right. |
Boente needs to go. Good. |
God forbid a law enforcement attorney wants to enforce the law against hostile actors like Flynn. |
He was fired. Shouldn't have been, but he was. |
There were no FISA warrants on Flynn. WTF. |
This NEVER happened. There were never any FISA warrants on Flynn. I don't know if the reporter screwed up, or if someone took bad information from the source, but that is an outright falsehood. |
So Boente was fired twice.
And when Trump fires Wray, does he even remember what happened the last time he fired the head of the FBI? |
As the FBI GC, Boente was career, not an appointee. Not directly fireable by Trump or Barr. Or by Lou Dobbs
They don't care, they fired him anyway. On a Friday while the country burns. Fox News is firing career government employees. Sad. |
Not sure that is correct. They may be in a different category. |
It is correct. Boente is career. He can be reassigned, but not fired. |
What about for cause? |
It would need to go through a standards review, which usually take months/years. And, Wray/Barr/Trump wouldn't want that because it would force Boente to provide the goods on his work. Under oath. |
What if charges are involved? |
The article has been corrected. He might have agreed to retire, but he was not fired. He will finish out on June 30. I imagine he has no desire to deal with the current administration’s BS. He’s likely ready to go fishing or golf. F this noise. |
Barr asked for his resignation. He gave it, he resigned.
Most people understand that to mean that he's fired. |
