We still have zero answers on what the Rs are actually going to do about any of the issues they scream and shout about
Wake up, people |
You haven't been paying attention. |
So what polls are we supposed to believe? Or are they all suspect? |
No, really. What do the Rs plan to do about actual inflation (that’s being worsened by corporate gouging the GOP refuses to address)? About the crime (that’s far worse in their red controlled states)? About abortion, which the forced birthers want to pretend they’re going to leave alone even though they’re gunning for birth control next? What are you guys going to do about anything? Other than raise taxes on the middle class and the poor and cut Social Security, Medicare and further gutting the USPS? |
They are going to do nothing. They are not sending competent legislators to Congress. Most of their nominees do not even the acknowledge basic facts about any of the issues they rant about. They are promising delusional and dysfunctional government. |
The PA poll may be legitimate, although most of the respondents were contacted before the debate, so I take it with a grain of salt. |
I've been paying attention. I work for a think tank and cannot tell you what policies Rs are suggesting that would do anything to address today's economic issues. I saw one member talking about tax cuts. That actually increased inflation because it puts even more money into the economy. |
You're forgetting Republicans' plans to butcher Social Security and Medicare. This will fix inflation and help Americans because Democrats are bad. |
Not sure how this would suppress Dem turnout. If anything, it might convince some Democrats that their vote in fact matters. I think one of Democrats problems the last few cycles is their getting overoptimistic based on polls, and then some of their voters deciding as a result that it doesn't really matter if they show up and vote. |
