Look, nobody cares about leagues other than the league employees posting on these sites and a few idiotic parents who have untalented kids or don’t know anybody. Knock it off and move on.

Actually, a lot of us care. I'd rather stay primarily in Northern Virginia/Maryland than have to drive to Virginia Beach or Roanoke. It's absurd.

No, you care about the commute, not the league, which is a totally reasonable point to raise. My point was that the obsession with leagues is what got us the CCL and ECNL fetishes in the first place and led to all that travel time that many of us do not like.

Ok. I am with you, then.

Talked to DS coach and apparently he seemed rather neutral to it all; “it doesn’t matter, four parents already told me they are leaving”.
Anonymous
honestly everyone should just join NCSL and expand it to 12 divisions or whatever. that will solve it.
Anonymous
At least then it would be pro-rel and we could stop with this stupid "higher league" chickensh!t. Earn your position by winning.

But then how would coaches have 3 or 4 teams

Makes sense. The tryout schedule links to July 2020. Great to see the club is thinking forward and providing accurate and current information on their website, albeit from a year ago. 😂

Not the only ones? You may be onto something. Gunston is likely the only club with outdated information. The clubs that are thriving have current information and is easily found without going through multiple clicks or screens.
