Tell me you don’t know Chicago without telling me you don’t know Chicago… Midwest United Chicago was a flash in the pan. A skills trainer borrowing the name and players from other local clubs to field 2-3 teams. Would guarantee it had zero bearing on GA/ECNL/MLSN/literally anything. |

San Francisco Glens
... .. . It is just getting funnier every time. Go get em GA! |
Another blow to ECRL |
I mean, boys ECNL/RL are taking an old fashioned ass whoopen right now lol. PDA double downing on MLSN Coppermine, Oregon Rush, Westside Metros, Loudon, NVA, OPFC saying hell no to ecnl |
I do not know Chicago anything, but could tell they were affiliated since the crest is the same. Midwest United FC is associated with the Columbus Crew. |
How much shit can you stir? This is because their girls can not switch to ECNL, so the club decide to go all in for EA/GA. You are all trying to scam parents to change the name from EA to MLS2, or no, let's name it MLS New Tire to scam more people. |
|
Both Elk Grove Soccer and Los Gatos announced in the ECRL NorCal league and have also either switched to MLSN II, or they plan on playing in both leagues.
What’s happening right now is beyond wild. ECNL rushing announcements only to lose teams the following day. This is 100% a tried war. |
| just heard Top Hat to ECNL... |
| two years in a row ECNL getting top GA Clubs and GA adding tier 3 level talent. Bad look for the new iteration of the old bankrupt DA.... |
Ha ha ha ha |

Don’t start spreading false rumors.
ECNL has there back against the wall. not looking to good.. |
Homegrown isn’t happening on the girls side because it’s not part of NWSL’s model. They are the top 1 or 2 league for women in the world. MLS is maybe 10th at best. NWSL wants to attract the best players in the world. Not build a pipeline of us youth players. They just signed a collective bargaining agreement with the players that eliminated the draft and made everyone not under contract a free agent. They couldn’t do homegrown (violates the CBA) without changing the whole model they just agreed to pursue. |
Why all that hate towards Alexandria? Maybe not the older age groups but their 12s have been right there with the rest and these moves are more geared towards the future. |
Current NWSL CBA actually discusses the potential for the league to implement home grown players as a rule/category, but the league hasn't ever acted on it. For those curious From the "Definitions" section (u) “Home Grown Player” shall mean a youth player who was developed by a Team prior to becoming a professional soccer player with the NWSL. From section 6.2 As such, NWSL may take any action not in conflict with any express provision of this Agreement, any SPA, or any applicable law in the exercise of its management rights. Such rights include but are not limited to [...] maintaining, modifying, or implementing Home Grown Player/Player development, ... From Section 13.3- Mechanisms for Acquiring Players’ Rights Section 13.3 – [...] If NWSL seeks to create a Home Grown Player Rule, it will notify the NWSLPA and allow the NWSLPA the opportunity for input, but the NWSL retains the discretion to implement the Rule. From Section 15 - Roster size In the event NWSL implements a Home Grown Player rule during the term of this Agreement, NWSL will be permitted to roster Home Grown Players in excess of the maximum Roster size. |
| hahaha hahaha, old bankrupt DA league. GA can't wipe that stank off |
