Beautiful lax by Spalding from kids that are not even 6.0 tall. Size doesn't matter as long as you play the game move the rock! 10-6 Spalding! in the 4th.

The way they move the rock, ride, make up for mistakes on the next play. They are pretty unbelievable.

Few teams in the DMV could learn how to do that they would be unbeatable as well. Spalding worked PVI and Bullis doing the same thing they are doing to St. Anthony's.

Impressive win for Spalding over St Anthony's.

The Cavs do an excellent job of moving the ball on offense and play very un-selfish lacrosse.

They are fun to watch!

It’s just really pretty lacrosse. Worth showing your players.

DMs won more titles than any other program. Sorry “god is purple” GZ and nouveau riche SJC. And DM produced Paul Rabil, one of the greatest lacrosse players of all time. DM is back on top!

I believe I speak for everyone here when I say that I'll bookmark this post and come back on 5/12. If you're proven correct you can bask in the reflected glory and talk all the sh*t you want but if you're wrong I fully expect you to show up, take your L and get dunked on by everyone. Need to prove it first before you start making these bold proclamations.

DeMatha is loaded with committed seniors who committed as incoming freshman to DeMatha when Scott Morrison was still the coach. He ended up retiring that June. However, once the seniors graduate, I see DM dropping. The seniors are the reason DM is doing so well this year. Also, this is the first time in over 3 years DeMatha has a real and good FOGO, who is a junior and committed to The Mount. Their recruiting classes for 26, 27 and 28 are so low in numbers and lack any real quality despite a handful of players. Prior coaches Dave Mitchell, and complete failure of a coach Matt Miller did not actively recruit players. Also, most of the former hot beds DeMatha recruited in (Crofton, Kent Island and Annapolis) sees those players going to other schools (Spalding, St Marys, Severn). Unfortunately, PG County is not a hotbed for lacrosse. It is the do or die Spring for DM.

Truth - 10 players listed as college lax committed for the 25's. 1 player for the 26's. I'm sure the class will get a couple more for d3 but nothing as compared to this class. This needs to be DM's year.

Madlax founder needs to sponsor one extra game that matches the IAC and WCAC champions for final DC area bragging rights. Play the game at Georgetown U under the lights and make it an annual event.

You could do the same thing for the girls too, ISL Champion vs the Champion from the WCAC girls.

Coordinating across the leagues seems more challenging than it should be, but the different end of school year and graduation events provides another layer of complexity.

The only time this happened was in covid affected 21 and it was a huge positive. Wish it stuck.

Spalding is impressive. What club teams are their players come from?
