The whole “we thought all the kids were dead” thing is clearly BS, considering that kids made multiple 911 calls from the room, begging the police to come in. |
Right. There is no low you won't sink to in order to defend your precious guns. |
| Investigators will try to protect the identity of the teacher as best they can for now. Too many crazies out there. |
I don’t think it’s blaming. I think it is a discussion of the series of events that allowed this to unfold as it did. The shooter is the only one responsible. The police aren’t responsible for what he did, the teacher isn’t responsible for what he did but if we aren’t going to ban guns, then the only way to stop this happening is looking at what went wrong in this instance to do better next time. Hence the discussion. |
Mmmmkay. Stating an objective fact isn’t indicative of my views on gun control one way or the other. It’s a matter of rationale thought. But you do you. |
Probably because that's not what really happened, but they need a cover story. |
^^^^ rational |
I really don't give two sh!t$ about what the officers that were on the scene are going through. First, why was the school police chief in charge when he clearly was not up to the task. And did no other law enforcement personnel tell him he was wrong and push back. Something is not adding up - the truth is they were scared of being shot themselves and didn't want to put themselves in harm's way. That is cowardice. |
It's blaming. What allowed this to unfold is the widespread availabilty of guns promoted to anyone who wants one. |
| We’re a nation of cowards - that much is clear - and I’m sick of it. |
^^^^ enabler of child slaughter |
Until you can link the 9-1-1 call info being passed on to the UISD commander in real time you’re grasping at straws. |
The story keeps changing. Now they are saying they didn’t go in because they thought all of the kids were dead. Despite a little girl calling every few minutes begging for help.
They keep changing the story because they're lying. This is a cover up attempt. |
| It’s sickening. I feel sick. |
I mean all of us are cowards. The entire population for not standing up for more firearm restrictions in light of the fact that gun related death is now the number one killer of children. And yes, the Texas cops are fricking cowards. And yes, I served in combat so F off. |
