And, for 07 and 08 that has been true. FCV, despite not receiving an infusion of Loudoun Red players, though, has an 07 group that was able to get to the final of the Jeff Cup top bracket, and an 08 group that was in the 2nd flight and went 1-1-1. Which goes to show that there is enough talent in Loudoun County to have 2 elite teams per age group. Loudoun lost half a dozen 05s 4 years ago and can’t possibly be expected to field a strong team by now??? BS excuses. The talent has always been there, the coaching and training has not.

If you have witnessed ECNL training sessions in person you know this is accurate and not false.

Parada and Hughes have been wanting out for some time but you the power of the $ is strong.

Agreed that the coaching at Loudoun is not great, which is why many left for FCV. Now there is an opposing force which is lack of DA / Loudoun has ECNL. If Loudoun would get their act together and hires coaches worth a darn at the older ages, FCV would be toast (i.e. they'd be ODFC or VAR or Sterling, etc.). But, not likely they ever will, so the debate and competition will endure.

This is not why players left for FCV. For F sakes

Hollow because you haven’t interviewed them. Ignorance is bliss.

Looks like u15 and older coaches might want to see what the u 13/14 coaches are doing because they seem to fall apart after that point... or even to the McLean coaches.

U13: Loudoun 6th place, McLean 11th, BRYC 13th
U14: Loudoun 1st place, McLean 3rd, BRYC 12th
U15: McLean 7th, BRYC 11th place, Loudoun 12th
U16: McLean 4th, Loudoun 10th place, BRYC 12th
U17: McLean 5th, Loudoun 8th place, BRYC 13th
U18/19: McLean 1st,BRYC 5th place, Loudoun 13th

.... so keep comparing yourself to BRYC if it will make you feel better.

So overall - Loudoun getting ECNL 2 years ago put them ahead of MYS as the top ECNL destination. At the expense of FCV. That about sums it up.

With Arlington getting ECNL, expect MYS to get another squeeze on the east.

Uh, yeah it is for F sakes. That, and the DA badge were the lure. Now things have changed again. But thanks for making a pointless argument.

Did ya notice the title of this thread? We’re talking about Loudoun Co. not Fairfax or Arlington, but yes BRYC is going down the tubes. As far as MYS, the rankings are a bit weird this year due to the fact that VA clubs played a lot fewer games than the Covid friendly states.

Wrong again, random fool.

For those U15+ teams, FCV used to be better in ECNL standings right? Think about it, slide FCV into the list in the older age groups above MYS and you have a pretty clear picture of what happened.

U16+ yes, U15 and younger FCV is mid-pack and hasn't made moves. Old vs. new era.

Correct. The better U14 and younger girls left FCV for Loudoun or stayed at Loudoun. Old vs new era.

Everybody starts at Loudoun. Some leave, only a handful go back.

The difference now is the top players stay because there is a patch to stay for when there wasn't a patch in the past.

Lets cut the back and forth.

I want to hear FCV plans going forward.

This is not false. Nobody stays because of the coaching. Sad but true. LMFAO
