I’m the spirit of Diego Maradona. As I was floating above the Field at Jeff Cup, I watched Loudoun slice, dice and pass their way through the FCV team and made a great cross for an easy tap in for the win. AMAZING! Best team out of northern VA that I have ever witnessed. As for McLean 07, their going through a player shuffle. Good Luck. Now let me get back to Snow Mt where there is no shortage of energy and vitality.

I’m a bum with no kids. I watched the game from my cardboard box. Both FCV and Loudoun 07’s have great players and the game was close. So if both teams have great players and they were even, what was the difference maker? Coaching. FCV was out coached.

I just discovered this forum and have been looking through different threads and there is one consistent theme: hatred for FCV. Why is that? My kids play in CCL and I'm probably out of the loop when it comes to GA and ECNL rivalries but still. I don't get it.

FCV has a reputation for being very pompous + recruiting/stealing players from other clubs bc they don’t have a real feeder program. Thus many don’t like them, end of story
