Well, why did he lose control of the car then? If you are driving at a safe speed, this generally shouldn’t happen. (Again, this is a single-car accident.) |
Well he was spending. Whomp...whomp...something most drivers have done, especially in a really nice car. Glad he didn’t lose his life or injure someone else. Hopefully a lesson has been learned. |
In other words, Woods is entirely at fault. It was an accident of his own making. At a minimum, he should be ticketed accordingly, but he really should be criminally charged. The man has no business on the road. I don’t care much if he kills himself, but he presents a serious danger to others. |
As should all speeders. |
Any chance this may have been a suicide attempt? |
No way. He was on his way to an event. Imo, he was obviously intoxicated and struggling to remain conscious/alert. He’s done this kind of thing several times before. He has a track record of intoxication and related poor driving. |
| Why the heck doesn't he have a personal driver? All that money and no brains. |
I’m 10000% wondering the same. Just read an article citing that authorities know what caused the crash but declined to say due to “privacy concerns”. I am seriously wondering. Wish him the best though either way. |
LA Times reports that there was no levels of alcohol of medicine that could have resulted in the cause of crash |
| Good thing he was driving a Volo. I bet any other car would've ended differently. |
Plot twist* this whole thing turns out to be an advertisement for Volvo |
He was driving a Genesis SUV. |
? He was driving a genesis |
What criminal charge? Speeding is not a criminal offense. |
Ultimately I could see a DUI charge. Experts say his crash is consistent with the type of crash that might occur if a driver isn’t fully conscious/alert. He also had not one but several other known instances of intoxicated and extremely reckless driving. It’s an obvious pattern of behavior for Woods. |
