Do you actually know any "beautiful" (because it's so damn subjective) women? Like, on a deep, personal level? If you did, you'd save yourself a lot of time and effort with the jealousy and bitterness. It comes with it's very own set of shitty drawbacks like anything else in life.

Life is so freaking short, stop wasting energy on this and figure out what you need to feel fulfilled.

Back in the nightclub era of the 1980s really beautiful women were paid to go to nightclubs. It attracted men and for marketing.

The girl I knew from my 20,000 person college who literally was best looking girl in school by a mile was making in 1981 ten dollars an hour plus free drinks and food at age of 19 to go to a club or restaurant. She said at time this is up the block in Manhattan I get $20 an hour Literally she could eat dinner and get paid. They send a car for her. Studio 54 type clubs with a line around the block she get paid to go to.

I recall we lived near each other and I was at a club in summer and I said Hi, but she recognized me, we chatted 15 minutes and I mentioned going to beach in morning. She says me too want to go together. I get her address and say 10 am. Mind you this girl was at the level on one in ten million good looking

I go to get her and her Dad was rich and not home. I rang doorbell. I was like wow. She thanks me for taking her as it is so annoying to go by herself as the amount of men bothering her makes it not enjoyable.

To add to it, she goes I will drive. I am already friend zoned but not being pussyfied. Luckily I borrowed my older brothers convertible so I said I will drive as we can tan in way.

The beach was interesting. Literally at blanket when she took shorts and T-shirt off whole beach stopped when she was in a bikini. I would have to walk her to bathroom, when I went to bathroom blanket was surrounded by men.

I literally if I moved a few feet away men moved a few feet closer. It was actually annoying

I have dated beautiful girls but few are this level. It is a bit of a burden

Same. Nobody in my years here in DC (sorry, ladies in this thread who all claimed they were stunning) but definitely from my time in LA when I had roommates that worked in the entertainment industry there. Beautiful people from all over would flock to LA to try to make it in entertainment.

Same. Nobody in my years here in DC (sorry, ladies in this thread who all claimed they were stunning) but definitely from my time in LA when I had roommates that worked in the entertainment industry there. Beautiful people from all over would flock to LA to try to make it in entertainment.

And before you ask well if they flocked from all over, couldn't they have started in DC, people go to LA and NYC young, like 17-18 to try to make it. So if there were any here they'd flee by that age. Also another thing to remember is that people get more beautiful when they go to LA, there is literally a whole industry there dedicated to making people more beautiful--trainers, dermatologists, estheticians, stylists, and some really good (not the bad, overdone stuff) plastic surgeons.

Beauty is obviously super objective, but to me, the scale goes something like this. I had to use celebrities which isn’t perfect, but this should give you a sense of what I mean.

5-6: Your typical looking woman. On certain days (wedding, formal occasions), she looks great but normally wouldn’t stand out in a crowd. Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Kamala Harris.
7-8: A very attractive woman. People notice and will openly call her sexy or hot. Great raw material but she has to work hard to be at the top of this range. Jessica Alba, Kerry Washington, Christina Anstead, Ciara.
9-10: A true stunner whose life direction is altered by her looks. The girl whose looks truly precede her and can even become dangerous. Gigi Hadid, Rose Huntington Whitley.

She was a Rich Long Island Girl. But my bar was NYC and the Hamptons and pre internet and social media you had to move to LA or NYC so there was some top talent. I have in three 1980s and 1990s met Christie Brinkley, Elle McPerson, Tyra Banks type models in person. Christie I saw at home in her backyard a ton of freckles no make up, Elle is great but almost too tall, Tyra a bit washed out looking.

The girl I took to beach that was crazy as no makeup and was at club night before.

I also met Aunt Becky in her prime and she was gorgeous. But personality was a bitch.

I had a gorgeous frien in college. She didn't realize how pretty she was, I think it's because she grew up the ugly duckling. She was litterally the 90s trope come to life of the awkward, looking nerdy girl who grew up to be a stunner. She was rezlly sweet, kind of shy and nerdy too. T-shirt and jeans type. Unfortunatley alot of girls were just mean to her because of her looks. We were STEM majors and apparently you weren't supposed to be smart and pretty. Some profs would give her a hard time too. People would start all kinds of rumors about her.

It was funny to go out with her though the guys, would go crazy for her, and she was totatlly and truly oblivious to it.
