I don’t know what sources you use, but everything I read was talking about the fact that the GOP election sabotage might prevent ballots from even arriving. That’s not moving the goalposts. And mail in voting IS HAPPENING for a variety of reasons, not the least of which that is the safest option and is the law in many, many states. We see you. We see you trying to steal an election. Your idiot president** admitted as much. |

You do realize that there is as least one Virginian who has requested a mail-in ballot, not received one, received delayed mail, and not stepped foot in a grocery store for months on end? You do realize how many tradesmen are out of work right now? Your argument is what exactly? Be specific. |
The “conservative” argument is basically that we aren’t entitled to safe or free and fair elections and we just better deal with it. |
I'm sorry - WTH are you talking about? I don't give a rat's ass how you vote. But if you're going to continue to whine and moan about mail-in ballots, then either drop yours off in person or go vote in person. Stop your constant bit*ching. |
+1 But they will absolutely do the bolded. Any excuse they can find, they'll use it. |
It's pretty clear: Democrats enthusiastically supported mass protests in the middle of a pandemic. Yet now they're claiming it's "not safe" to go vote in person? And you actually expect to be taken seriously. Absentee ballots will work as they always have. Stop the outrage. |
Don't forget that they would rather the USPS prioritize their mail in ballot over grandma's medicine so that they don't have to get off the couch. Reminds me of this commercial https://youtu.be/61c2vIhI8BM |
That's spot-on! Never seen that one before. |
Except most of the States have already decided to do mail in ballots because 1) they view the cost benefit to he wort it safety wise and 2) Oregon and Utah have proven that it's feasible. Therefore the only thing you are arguing for is using the power of the federal government to sabatoge that choice. Keep in mind that the USPS "reforms" only started after the States made that decision. |
No General election ballots are printed until about 60 days before the election. At this point Biden, Harris, Trump, and Pence have not officially been nominated by their parties and Republicans are still trying to get Kanye West on some state ballots. Once the National tickets are sent to the states, the states add the state and district races and send to the counties to add local races and print ballots for each precinct. It differs by state but official ballots won’t be available for absentee mail in voting until sometime in September. |
| How is the post office able to deliver billions of Christmas cards during the holiday season but suddenly can’t handle, what, 30 or 40 million mail ballots? |
From the party that claims we’re not allowed to say “Merry Christmas” and that nearly crucified Obama for the sin of the tan suit, you’re full of sht. And head injury? Huffing paint? Lie passed out in a chlorine gas cloud? You guys are like a broken gddmn record with not understanding how covid is transmitted. Once more, hopefully the time to overcome your short term memory limitations: inside is worse than outside. Close is worse than distanced. Unmasked is worse than masked. Long periods together is worse than short periods. Now see if you can figure out what about standing in line for three hours inside might be bad (and revel in the fact that your party is so fcked up that they have broken elections to the point that lots of people have to wait in those lines to vote). |
I swear to god you Republicans are some of the least bright and most hateful people I’ve ever engaged with. You DO, in fact, give a rat’s how I vote. You’ve been complaining about absentee voting (which is the same damn thing as mail in voting) for weeks since the traitor started complaining about it. My state has safe, legal absentee voting. So long as GOPpers aren’t sabotaging the USPS, it works great. But if you didn’t cheat, you wouldn’t win. |
