| 1st degree with deliberation murder charges means he planned the murder and/or they have serious evidence. |
And enough evidence without a body. I hope they end up finding out what he did with her body. |

Shockingly, the daughters are on his side.
The couple's two daughters, Mallory and Macy - one of whom is under 18 - were present [at arraignment] but the judge, in a written said that they were not to be pictured. The two girls put on a strong show of support for their father inside the courtroom; they mouthed 'I love you' and made heart signs with their hands. |
He’s all they have. They probably only know what he has told them. I’m sure they haven’t seen all the evidence |
Colorado is expensive. But he was a firefighter? What did she do? That’s a big mortgage. |

He can't be serious. She'd been missing since MAY 2020 by that point!! What did he think would happen when federal authorities were notified a missing person had voted? The ballot didn’t contain Suzanne’s signature, but it did list Barry as the witness. The ballot was photographed and seized as a piece of evidence. On April 22, Barry was asked by FBI agents why he submitted a ballot for Suzanne. |

Suzanne's brother and sister have both publicly said they suspected Morphew of murder.
Over the weekend the sister, Melinda Moorman, revealed that Suzanne shared fears for her safety in a string of 'telling' text messages shortly before she disappeared. Moorman spoke to and recalled how her missing sibling had sent a series of 'telling' texts shortly before her disappearance in May 2020. 'She definitely made implications that she had concerns about her safety and the condition of their relationship had, I think, deteriorated quite a bit over the last several years,' Moorman told Heart of the Rockies Radio on Saturday. |

Surprising update in the murder trial - Suzanne was having the affair, not her husband Barry!
Suzanne Morphew, 49, had researched language schools in Ecuador after her lover (of two years) Jeff Libler, a married father-of-six from Michigan who she went to school with in Indiana, suggested that the Latin American nation had cheap living costs and good healthcare. On May 8 he texted her: 'You look good in biking gear babe. You need to be my wife.' On the morning of May 9 she texted him: 'We need to be husband & wife.' |
Not shocking at all. Are you new to true crime stories? The kids want to believe dad didn’t do it more than anything, despite all evidence, in tons of cases. They are deeply traumatized and cannot face losing both parents. Very common. Now, the inlaws on the other hand — the inlaws turn on the accused almost immediately in these stories. |
Maybe but court testimony indicates the younger daughter was encouraging her mother to seek a divorce from the father. So she knew their marriage was troubled. |
Temporary insanity after going into a rage finding out his wife was cheating on him. |
Did the part about the daughter come out during the preliminary today? I’ve been following a bunch of tweets all day and had not seen this mentioned. |
It’s here - came from Suzanne’s BFFs testimony Sheila testified on Monday that Macy, the Morphews' youngest daughter, encouraged her mother to get a divorce and file a restraining order against her father. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9877423/amp/Barry-Morphew-killed-wife-Suzanne-learning-having-affair.html |

Turns out its a small-world after all. Suzanne's AP went to high school with her and her husband. Between the three of them they have 9 kids.
She was Suzanne Moorman then. Meanwhile Jeff looks like the 80s version of the 'cool' jock.
