Suzanne Morphew is missing

Wow. I can’t believe that her remains were finally found. I wonder if there will be new evidence that points to the husband.

Is this some kind of strategy?

Maybe they can’t delay the trial but don’t want to argue the case without a full investigation of evidence and a proper autopsy? If they go to trial and lose because of a lack of evidence they can’t re-try him because of double jeopardy. The body isn’t going anywhere , they can refile in 2023.

I wonder why they think they’d ever find the body. And if they do would the remains really be informative of the cause of death?

They found it. Apparently it’s under five feet of snow and ice in a rural mountainous area of Colorado that’s hard to get to?

They found her in sand dunes. In SAND. DUNES. In a Colorado state park. Never would have guessed.

This article says that her bones were found scattered in a high-desert field. I don’t think that is the same thing as sand dunes. https://gazette.com/news/suzanne-morphew-murder-disappearance-saguache-chaffee/article_c0c9dd2a-041a-58e5-8c05-e46fc26d3403.html?utm_campaign=blox&utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social

Colorado has beautiful sand dunes, you can actually ski on them.

I thought he was suing for $15M for everything police put him through just to then drop the charges right before his trial. I dunno, I wouldn't being suing anyone for even a dime if I was guilty of the crime they're accusing me of. I would keep my head down.

Nah. He did it. She told her friends the marriage was rocky and he would not even speak of divorce. The day after she texted him that she was “done” he drives home from a job site (supposedly) and then his phone pings all over the house in a crazy pattern. He claims he was chasing a chipmunk in the house. He also said he went to bed at 8pm (with his wife “missing”!) but then his truck computer shows it was used at 9:30pm. The next day, they have him on camera visiting multiple public trash dumpsters.

Come on. He killed her.

The sad thing is, his daughters believe him.

I was just reading the article. What about the fact that DNA was found in her car that was related to other assault cases? And the DNA was not her husband’s?

Sounds pretty far from where her mountain bike was found.

I suspect the daughters are in on it.

Is it linked to the secret husband with six kids? He would have had access to her car.

He has been cleared - solid alibi for that day.
