Like any ID session talent varied but the take away is there is interest in the club and in those age groups.

Did you consider that it’s because I’m in MoCo and plan to have my DC attend the session in Rockville?

Did you consider that it’s because I’m in MoCo and plan to have my DC attend the session in Rockville?

It will be interesting how the various ID locations will change the numbers.

I’m also using this ID Session to gauge how my 2008 DD’s skill level compares with others in her age group. This is the reason why I asked if many talented kids attended. I doubt we will join MU if she makes the team unless she really wants to join. Driving home from work in DC to pick her up in Rockville then drive to Reston for practices will drive me crazy. Even it practice is in Tyson’s, it’s still difficult in rush hour traffic.

What I was also alluding to is that it may be unlikely that kids who attended VA sessions will attend MD sessions. You can go but you may still not get a complete picture of the overall talent that is interested.

I didnt go to last night ID session but have went to the Maryland one and will say turn out was good and will say half the pool was :talented: the other half are so-so some even below travel level.

Below travel level is not accurate. Worry about the talented ones. ALL ID sessions at DA/ECNL clubs have dreamers who attend.

There are only a few competitive travel teams at the moment in the Montgomery county area, Bordeaux, MSI, Bethesda, Potomac, Olney, Rush, knowing that these are 2008 girls teams there's really a limited amount of players that are DA level caliber. Not as familiar with Stoddard.
