Probably so. My child got in, and the email asks to respond by 5/15 if she can attend.

They should absolutely do it. My DC was nervous too. I got a text saying they wanted to leave an hour after we dropped them off. Then they barely checked in the rest of the month. Had the best time!!!

They sent a follow up email saying that the first email was sent to the wrong address.

They do designate some alternates in case some don’t accept.

My son went last year for Latin. He said it took him a few days to relax and feel comfortable, but after that he had a really good time. They kept them so busy though - I was exhausted by the schedule. And at least for Latin, they do not allow them to have any technology, so he had to write us actual letters. It was harder for us since we had no idea how he was doing until we got that first letter a week or so later. But overall it was a fantastic program and very well organized. Most of the counselors/RAs were former participants themselves.
