No, I don’t think that only positive decisions were notified. I think it makes sense that the admins of the schools let the kids find out directly. I do not think it means that your kid didn’t get in. Only that the school admin didn’t read and/or share the email.

It’s stupid of them not to share-it says clearly on the VDOE website that school admin is welcome to share the results with students before the formal emails are released. Sure would have given me more peace of mind to not have to wait another weekend sweating it out when they are already almost a month late with decisions!!

So if decisions are already made and admins already know, how much longer on Monday will we have to wait for the email? I feel like they will drag this out to midnight tonight at the rate they are going.

Now my DC is "nervous" about the program and questioning whether to do it. Does it never end? Any other people who have had kids do in the past? Well done and well organized? Nerves the first week?

I have had two kids go through Gov school and both loved the experience, including the social aspects. Your kid agreed to be bound by the application (I am guessing they’re allowing people to opt out now because of the extreme delay), they should go for it.
