You can only win one game at a time. Let’s celebrate this one. |
+1. But it’s two more wins, not three. |
Who says they’re entitled and ungrateful? I think they’re being good sports in supporting their husbands. Not everyone enjoys crowds and sports mania. So they can onto dcum to tell us how they really feel. I bet they were the picture of grace to their hosts or guests. |
Good sports would be just complaining among themselves, not crashing a thread where Caps fans are discussing the series to act like tedious bitches and try to spoil other people’s good time. |
You sound like a bunch of desperate housewives. No one is forcing you to be there. I can understand being bored in the box - you’re closed off from the energy of the crowd and the food sucks (according to my DH who gets invited to those). I can’t understand going on a thread where real fans are posting and crapping on them. Is your life as a trophy wife really that unpleasant you need to do this? |
Wow!!! What a game. I think this is the year! Just 2 away!! |
^^i will add this seems to be the time when everyone who hates sports starts feeling like an outsider because it’s suddenly the main topic of conversation and they can’t contribute. Must really hurt to feel left out, otherwise I’d hope you could manage your boredom without being catty. |
Plus there’s the eye candy. Tom Wilson may be a thug, but dear lord he is hot. |
During the Stanley Cup playoffs, the teams play for the best of 7. So, the first team to 4 games wins. So, the Caps need 2 more wins. Vegas would need 3 more wins. If the Caps win the next 2 games, they are the champs. They don’t need to play all 7 games - only the first one to 4. Seven is the max # of games played. |
If your DH is looking for someone other than his ungrateful, boring, insufferable DW to take to Monday’s game tell him I’m available! GO CAPS!! |
Oh for heavens sake. As they say over in the political forum, guess what- not everyone shares your opinion. |
Post a throw away email. I don’t plan on going to the next game. |
"Best of 7". Used to be "Best of Five", then "Best of Seven" - for those of us who actually watched/followed hockey for truly decades (ie: NOT bandwagon fans). |
+1 Great idea OP! Let's see who steps up here. |
I’ll try. Capsfan123321@gmail.com |
