Me too. Want to meet up and talk about all the ridiculous people here? I have wine to share.

Ha! That’s great- I wish I could. I’m at dh’s business event so I’m stuck. Have you ever seen so many middle aged men having a collective midlife crisis?

I hope the food in your suite is better than ours. Im with my DH too, but ironic thing is none of these guys here with us are into hockey. They are all trying to out-macho each other with their “knowledge” when really they only got their tickets though work and are entertaining clients. Not sure any have been to more than 1 game before. I raise my glass to you. Good luck and Fingers crossed to no overtime.

It's like the a-holes who attend the kids' games, and cheer louder than ever, even though their child's team is 8 points or more ahead of the other team. The same dad who never played a sport a day in his life, but insists on being all puff chested (and about 200 lbs. overweight) while pacing the sidelines. Sit down, be quiet, learn to be a gentleman someday (never happen) and act like an adult (again, never happen). Not that your wife would notice.

I want to meet both of you there! You guys sound like you are actually fun!

No, they really don't.

Learn about the game, get involved in your husband's business so you can help him since that's how you can afford your McMansion and SAHM lifestyle, and STFU.

What's the irony again? What do you know about hockey?

The difference between a backcheck and a forecheck? Who Ovechkin, Orlov, and Orpik are? How many games have you seen or played in? Perhaps you should sit down and be quiet.

Why so testy? Why the incorrect assumptions? My, my, my. I wish I had any of those things! Hilarious!

No one is talking to you.

+1

Not everyone’s definition of fun is dressing in those horribly unflattering jerseys and going crazy when “we” score a goal.

+1 from the other suite. I’m very interested in my husbands business and like his colleagues. It’s the hockey I can’t strand.

It’s sad the people who are lucky enough to be at a Stanley Cup finals game bitch about it instead of enjoying it. Why did you go? Do you HAVE to make an appearance with your DH? Too bad someone who would have appreciated the tickets couldn’t go in your place.
I know a ton of people who would have loved to be there - starting with me. And, my DH. And, my son and daughter.

So now what do the Caps have to do to win the Cup? Don't they have to win three more games? So that's not a guarantee. I think everyone's getting ahead of themselves.

Exactly. I can’t stand people like the entitled, ungrateful PPs.

Some people aren’t content to just be miserable, they have to try to drag everyone else down with them. But in the end, we got to enjoy a fantastic game even if it was from the couch while they sat around on their phones grousing about their miserable Saturday night, so who got the better end of it?

At least try to understand what’s going on before raining on other people’s parades. Otherwise we’ll just laugh at you.

I'm trying to understand. That's why I asked. I'm not trying to rain on the parade... I'm glad people are happy. But there is still a ways to go, right?
