The heat is rightfully on Hope Hicks, John Kelly, Jared Kushner, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and anyone else who knew about Rob Porter's domestic violence past, but still brought him into, and kept him in, such a sensitive White House position without any security clearance. And the heat is deserved for anyone at the White House who ordered, prepared, or delivered the statements vigorously defending Mr. Porter, despite what they knew. It is also worth noting that generally the White House Chief of Staff will not release any statement that has not been thoroughly reviewed, and in most cases prepared, ordered, and approved, by the White House Communications office, and/or the White House Press Secretary. If I were a conspiracy buff, I would wonder whether the White House's coordinated defense of Rob Porter was a Trojan horse mandated of John Kelly, which he was more than happy to let in. It certainly benefits some in the White House interested in seeing John Kelly retired. |
+1 Both wives told the FBI in detail what he did. In any other normal administration, he would have never have been able to get such a high level post. All his predecessors had security clearance.
|
| Senior WH complicity in this is pretty disgusting. They should be ashamed but I don't think these people are capable of shame. |
Or he doesn't care that his staff secretary beat his two ex-wives. Though one would think he would care that his staff secretary can't get a security clearance and is vulnerable to blackmail. |
I am democrat, not in WH and I want Kelly retired too. He is more dangerous than someone like scaramucci due to his retired general facade to his white supremacist real self. He has soiled his reputation when he out rightly lied in TV against Rep. Wilson. |
| Why are the usually vocal Trumpkins so quiet all of a sudden? |
Excellent point. Because if I were a conspiracy theorist I would ask myself whether indeed the White House wanted precisely someone who was subject to "pressure" because of past secrets, and someone who would be exceptionally loyal to the White House knowing their career was getting a second, HUGE chance, when no other employer would have overlooked that background report, --- as the person working very closely with the President, privy to certain important documents and private conversations. |
| And these are the same people still flapping their gums over Hillary's "private email server"? |
“Shocked” Post was sarcasm, people. |
| Partial redemption is available to you Rob Porter (although we cannot overlook your domestic violence), if you come to Papa (Robert Mueller) baby. |
Busy bumping dead threads to ask why people don’t support the “Tripp’s” (troops) by supporting the fakakta fascist and his parade, or proposing brand-new theories found on the dark web about the adulterous FBI agents. The Republican Party supports wife beaters. Full stop. Hatch and Kelly would still be supporting Porter but for the photo. |
Yes, Sarah Sanders is taking a personal day for an attorney's appointment.
|
What Trump is not going to do:
|
Sanders was in the room with Cohn, Hope, Raj and Porter conciosting a nonsense cover story. She has no shame. |
|
How do we know that WH Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, WH Communications Director Hope Hicks, Gary Cohn, and WH Staff Secretary Rob Porter were all in a room together concocting a cover story for the Rob Porter scandal? Has that meeting been reported somewhere? If so, could you please provide a link?
Also, if such a meeting really took place, what the h@ll was Gary Cohn, Director of the National Economic Council, and chief economic advisor to the President, doing there? He is above all this, and containing White House scandals does not fall into his domain. PM/PC to Lisa Pevaroff-Cohn,: Pull a Karen Pence here, and order Gary never to meet alone or privately with Hope Hicks. She has shown a propensity to date within the office pool, and tends to prefer powerful, older men. Gary is strangely attractive, powerful, and very wealthy. Checks all the boxes!
