I wonder how many times Kelly looked the other way when he was in the military and his subordinates beat their wives?
+1. The heat is rightfully on Kelly at the moment, but the LDS Church should also be removing the bishop who "advised" Porter's ex-wife to keep quiet about his actions from his post.
The heat is rightfully on Hope Hicks, John Kelly, Jared Kushner, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and anyone else who knew about Rob Porter's domestic violence past, but still brought him into, and kept him in, such a sensitive White House position without any security clearance. And the heat is deserved for anyone at the White House who ordered, prepared, or delivered the statements vigorously defending Mr. Porter, despite what they knew. It is also worth noting that generally the White House Chief of Staff will not release any statement that has not been thoroughly reviewed, and in most cases prepared, ordered, and approved, by the White House Communications office, and/or the White House Press Secretary. If I were a conspiracy buff, I would wonder whether the White House's coordinated defense of Rob Porter was a Trojan horse mandated of John Kelly, which he was more than happy to let in. It certainly benefits some in the White House interested in seeing John Kelly retired.
I am democrat, not in WH and I want Kelly retired too. He is more dangerous than someone like scaramucci due to his retired general facade to his white supremacist real self. He has soiled his reputation when he out rightly lied in TV against Rep. Wilson.
