And then her smiling at the camera crew as she went up the stairs. The woman is in some serious denial.

This was all really weird to me. Why would he be telling a producer that? Does he have friends? Why do they continue to live together? Can they truly not afford to live apart?

I think they went thru serious money trouble a couple years. Living together is cheaper and probably easier, logistically speaking, for the kids too. If they had a true roommate situation where each person could have a romantic life apart from their family life, it could be workable. It seems that Robyn doesn't want to get back together with Juan but she doesn't want to move on either.

I'm guessing it's because the producer was there and Juan needed to vent. I don't think it's strange. I'm sure they develop relationships with the people who are shooting and working.

He could also move out. Robyn could be handling this differently, but why is Juan acting like she's holding him there against his will?

You are right. That is true. I'm guessing he wants her to be the one who finally says this isn't working. I think it's the guilt he has from breaking up their marriage.

He also needs her to organize his basketball camp so they can generate some revenue. I thought the preview of next week's episode was hysterical with Ashley and her husband (I forget his name) calling each other assholes. Karen came across as more sympathetic and real than in the past but that giselle should go back to the hood.

Loving Karen this season. She's showing her real side and she's just not acting as much for the cameras about etiquette or being the grande dame.

I don't know how I feel about Robyn and Juan. Yes to previous posters, they had a friend take all their money. Agree that makybe he feels guilty about breaking up the marriage but I think he might also still want to be with her. However I think Robyn needs to grow a spine. Her boys are already seeing how their dad treats her and are replicating it.

Ashley is AWFUL. Everything about her. Can't even blame it on age- I'm 26 and am not as ignorant as her. Also I laugh when she calls it "my restaurant" ... it's your sugar daddy closeted husband's. Her nostrils are constantly flaring and I hate how she talks through her teeth. She's not as hot as she thinks she is.

I like Gizelle and wish she'd get better storylines.

Also wish Monique would update her style and makeup. She's stuck in 2002 with that navy eyeshadow, frosty lip glosses, thin eyebrows and tacky clothes.

Charisse.... bleh

For Giselle to have better story lines she would have to reveal something real about herself.

Agreed - id like to see more personal things about her. Some vulnerablity, like what Karen's showing

Yes, that was awful. Robyn needs to pick up and *leave*. She's a beautiful woman, who seems smart and nice as well. Why she doesn't have more self-respect is beyond me. Juan acts like a spoiled brat.

This too. If he's unhappy, why on earth doesn't he just leave? Because he's using her - financially and emotionally - and she's allowing him to.

I was pleasantly surprised by Monique this past episode. I loved how she and Chris went fishing. Nothing fancy, just down by the river in a couple of lawn chairs. Clearly, they had done that before and it wasn't just for the cameras. I thought it showed how comfortable they are with one another and happy just doing simple things.

If Gizelle and Monique actually wind up burying the hatchet, I could see those two getting along pretty well. They seem similar - both are beautiful and funny, but a little rough around the edges.

What is with Gizelle's appearance in some of the interviews? She looks like an oompa-loompa, with her orange bronzer and frosted lip gloss. Weird look!
