I agree that Karen is much more palatable this season (with the exception of the house hunting nonsense). I really liked the scene with Gizelle where they were planting flowers with the kids. Very sweet.

Also, Karen's husband and daughter seem absolutely lovely. So she's obviously done something right.

Did Charrisse's daughter actually not know that her parents were heading for a divorce?? I mean, come on. She seems like a sweet girl though.

And Gizelle's daughters are so smart and cute. I hope they show more of them this season.

I don't know how I feel about Robyn and Juan. Yes to previous posters, they had a friend take all their money. Agree that makybe he feels guilty about breaking up the marriage but I think he might also still want to be with her. However I think Robyn needs to grow a spine. Her boys are already seeing how their dad treats her and are replicating it.

Ashley is AWFUL. Everything about her. Can't even blame it on age- I'm 26 and am not as ignorant as her. Also I laugh when she calls it "my restaurant" ... it's your sugar daddy closeted husband's. Her nostrils are constantly flaring and I hate how she talks through her teeth. She's not as hot as she thinks she is.

I like Gizelle and wish she'd get better storylines.

Also wish Monique would update her style and makeup. She's stuck in 2002 with that navy eyeshadow, frosty lip glosses, thin eyebrows and tacky clothes.

Agree about Karen. I think it's the biggest turn-around for a first-season housewife "villain" since Camille Grammer on RHOBH.

+1 That's a BRILLIANT comparison! I couldn't stand Karen last year and all of a sudden she seems like the most reasonable of the bunch. Ashley is a disaster and acts shocked that her husband calls the shots at the restaurant he paid for. I wonder what she expects marrying a dude her dad's age?

Can't believe they got rid of Katie. In just about all the flashback scenes in the last episode they show Katie.

Krazy Katie was good for ratings, but I don't think there was much to film. She refuses to talk about her marriage, breakup with what's his face, and her and Mama's money issues/fake charity. What does that leave?

I'm a POC and I really feel I have enough options for makeup these days. It's not like it was before, although there's always room to improve. I'll be sticking with an established line that has tested their makeup and not some random makeup line that she puts out!

I'm black and live in MD and love the show!! I like that they're kinda boring -- they actually seem like halfway decent ppl who would be friendly in real life. I prefer the more run-of-the-mill drama they have to the over-the-top stuff on other Housewives series but it may be that because I'm local I just like seeing places and people I relate to.

That's why I like this series too. And I agree Karen seems to have made the biggest change. She was definitely trying to be a glorified snooty version of herself then. I like this Karen.

I also still like Ashley. I think she is definitely maturing on the show.
