She was genuinely crying when Monique was quoted as calling her beneath Gieselle. And Ashley really needs to stop making her relationship with Juan something she gets to comment on. I normally think everyone deserves the snark they get but last night I felt like they took it too far. I normally dont mind Monique but she made her self look pretty bad last night.

Yeah, I didn't like her dig at Robyn for being "beneath" Gizelle. Wrong wrong wrong on so many levels.

I took it as she was saying Gizelle *thinks* of Robyn as beneath her. Not that Monique was saying Robyn was actually beneath Gizelle. I think she tried to clarify that, but the damage was done.

IMO, it's Ashley who needs to shut the hell up about Juan/Robyn. While I agree with her completely regarding Robyn wasting her time with Juan, Ashley has NO right to stick her nose in it. She needs to focus on the troubles in her own relationship.

I don't think Monique meant it that way per say. It's high school with the pretty popular Queen Bee and her sidekick. When you get the friend alone, she is fine but when she is with the Queen Bee she is different but will insist that's how she really is, she isn't being influenced. You know the Queen Bee would never be close friends with someone she sees as a threat or equally strong personality.

Exactly. This is what Monique was saying, but it got all twisted (naturally).

+1

That's very interesting that Monique was saying how Gizelle is the Queen Bee and Robyn is the sidekick, because earlier, Karen said that "the people who bestowed the title of Grande Dame" upon her are the ones who can take the title away. Gizelle said that she was the one who came up with the Grandme Dame moniker. So perhaps Gizelle is the Grande Dame of Potomac, after all?

I will be thrilled to never hear the phrase "Grande Dame" again. Karen is so utterly ridiculous.

I really like Monique. She's clearly the most wealthy of all of them (by far), but seems the most down-to-earth. Even though she said her five bedroom house was getting too small for her four person family, I liked how she owned that remark and didn't try to backtrack. The house is too small *for them.* More power to her. She also seems very intelligent, something I didn't quite realize when she first appeared on the show.

Ok, maybe the Indian costume at Karen's silly party wasn't an example of her "intelligence" (!), but she seems smart in other ways.

My friend is in the industry also and has said the same.

Notice whenever they eat or stay somewhere, you get a 2-second camera shot of the name of the place? Guess who's giving away free services in exchange for that 2-second shot?

And on last nights RHNY, Bethenny didn't want to invite Ramona on a trip. Ramona said "its a group trip, Im coming." Bravo definitely paying.

Wow! I also didn't realize how much under asking they got for the home. Was it a short sale or wildly overpriced? Or both?

Very interesting! Surely Karen must have known this would all come out. How mortifying.

Definitely overpriced to start with, then she had ridiculous restrictions on showing the house, plus all of this tax lien stuff that surely they knew about adding to the desperation for a sale. Put it all together and you have all of the ingredients for a fire sale and a perfect opportunity for a cash buyer to lowball the crap out of them and they had to take it because there was no other option on the table. No wonder Karen ran off to Bermuda and made Ray do the entire move on his own.

I can't understand how Ray is so good to her - you'd think he'd be furious that she paid for that very expensive vacation to Bermuda for all her friends, right in the midst of their financial crisis.

I thought Bravo pays for all those trips?

Agree with everything you said. I also disagree with Karen sharing Robyn's story. If Robyn wanted the world to know that she had been raped as a teen, she would have shared it on camera herself. It was not Karen's place. Robyn's rape at such a young age puts her attachment to Juan in perspective. She's dated him since high school, so probably after the rape. Perhaps he was the only male she felt safe with after her assault. Of course, it's all pure speculation on my part.

I think Monique don't like that Robyn and Gizelle are friends outside of filming. Of course they would have a different relationship with each other than with the other women. I don't like Monique and her ostentatiousness. When is 9,000 square feet two small for 2 adults and 2 kids under the age of six. And Monique needs to stop talking about her MIL on social media. A man can have many wives, but a man only has one mother, if she is/was a good mother.

And ways are those exactly?

Yes, I agree. I didn't think it was fair and Robyn seemed caught off guard. I think your speculation seems spot on. Post-rape trauma is real and if Juan was there for her through that or immediately after, their connection is so much deeper than we all see. I truly hope she ends up happy!

I don't know either of them, but that is pretty low to insult anonymously the looks of a teenager, especially one who is identified. As a grown woman, you should be ashamed of yourself.

+1000. Wtf? Who talks about someone's teenage daughter? I hope you're not a mom.

I am a mom! But I don't put myself or my family on reality TV, traumatize my kids by making my divorce public, and act like a smug spoiled bitch to everyone I meet. So I have quite a clear conscience criticizing this spoiled family.

NP here and still don't think it's not right. And let's get to it, the fact is Charisse has more ethnic features versus European standards of beauty and that's what is meant here. So not only do I think it's wrong because daughter is a teenager, and presumably you are an adult but also because the yardstick being used to determine looks is based on having Caucasian features.

Ashley and Michael are now separated. Not surprised at all.
