So you shouldn't be surprised if many of us are saying "Screw it. They don't want our help anyway. So let's just help ourselves and watch how badly those working class voters get screwed under Trump's policies. They can choke on the problems they created for themselves."

For me, it kind of feels like I tried to help my younger sibling deal with a substance abuse problem, by helping him look for a job, buying him food, and letting him sleep on my couch. And then I woke up on Wednesday morning, and discovered he's trashed all my stuff and set my apartment on fire. So I'm not feeling much love for helping him anymore.

I have thought it through. He never talked about homosexuality being a sin, for one. The reason he sat with the prostitutes is in part because he recognized that they weren't prostitutes because they loved having sex for money. He sat with them because he was trying to tell people to have sympathy and understand that, if anything, the real sinners were the Johns who went to them -- and the Johns were the very same people throwing stones! He sat with them to point out the hypocrisy in other people.

Jesus did not have to mention homosexuality being a sin because everyone already knew it was a sin. Jesus never said "Oh, by the way, stoning homosexuals to death for sin? When the adulteress was about to be stoned with stones, Jesus did not say she had not sinned, he said "Any of you without sin, cast the first stone." And what did he say to her afterwards? So you spew hatred toward people who are in committed monogamous relationships and want to marry (gay couples who want to be married) but you're totally cool voting for someone who has committed adultery, divorced, etc?

"I do not condemn you either, but go and SIN NO MORE".

You really are messed up and have it totally wrong. Like I said, you are going to rationalize sin to where it is not sin anymore. The bible clearly states in Genesis God made them male and female. God clearly states adultery and homosexuality are sins punishable by being stoned to death. You cannot in any way bypass that fact. There are many sins Jesus did not mention but the logic does not follow that because he did not mention them then it means they are no longer sins.

I do not hate gays, I just know that from the bible they are sinning, the same as adulterers are. I hate neither but I am not going to say "Well, the two committed adultery, or they are fornicating in acts of homosexuality and "love" (actually in lust) with one another so that makes it ok and God understands if we rewrite his rules a little bit." Sorry, but God makes the rules not us humans.

Voting for someone who committed adultery does not make me an adulterer, nor does it send a message I approve of adultery no more than I approve of Hillary sinfully calling other people "deplorables" or lying to the FBI about her emails and pay-for-play scam.

There is a strong possibility Pence prodding Trump that these so-called "marriages" will soon be annulled and rewritten to be called a non-Christian Civil Union not blessed by God but approved by the state. For me, it kind of feels like I tried to help my younger sibling deal with a substance abuse problem, by helping him look for a job, buying him food, and letting him sleep on my couch. And then I woke up on Wednesday morning, and discovered he's trashed all my stuff and set my apartment on fire. So I'm not feeling much love for helping him anymore.
