Someone should print this out and make a transcript in case libs try to backtrack and claim to be compassionate.
It really is funny to see you all showing your ass and being too socially stunted to even realize it, that you're doing the exact thing that gave the Repubs back the White House.
I guess I should say- thanks!
Yep. They keep it up, and their relevance and success in elections to come will be even worse than it already is.
It's like they know what they're doing is stupid and atrocious, but they can't help themselves. They're convinced somehow that "uneducated whites" will somehow stumble across this thread and be sad that someone with a $700HHI has committed to taking up heirloom gardening? The delusion that anyone gives a cr@p about them (or their HHI) is strong. Like a petulant teen that didn't get their way and has now scribbled "I hate my parents" all over their room.
Guys. Get it together.
We're having a laugh at your expense. You won, so you get to revel. We lost, so we get to mock.
It's the American way, and it won't have any impact whatsoever on future elections. Repubs got the White House in the usual way. Maybe they'll be able to replicate it, maybe they won't, but nothing we say here will affect that one way or the other.
I suggest that you don your wife-beater and hie thee to your monster truck rally. Free corn dogs if you get there early. Have a blast!
At who's extent? Surely not mine, and probably not most of the posters on this board, very few of whom, I would hazard to guess, fit into the category of "broke, uneducated whites".
It will absolutely have an impact on the future elections. And it had a big impact on THIS election, the smugness and out-of-touchness is EXACTLY what lost you the election, and most of the political analysts, even on the left, have admitted it.
But, sure, don't learn. For me, someone who is firmly outside of the group you're mocking, it's downright amusing to see you all acting like such... boneheaded jerks. And putting it all on a public listserve. And confirming exactly what the groups who decided this election think of you.
So, please, carry on. If you want to run yourselves into the ground even more, don't let me stop you.
You know what's fun? I've lived in the rural South, and I've lived in the industrial Midwest. I've drunk moonshine and been to deer camp.
I know your compatriots--I've lived with them, been to church with them, and been in their homes. I KNOW exactly who you've associated yourself with, with much more clarity than you do, I suspect.
They didn't vote against smugness or condescension--simply a false narrative. In a grand old tradition going back to William Jennings Bryan and generations of huckster tent revivals, they got hoodwinked by a snake oil salesman.
So I'll continue to have my fun, thanks. I care about your opinion of me every bit as much as you care about my opinion of you. Which is to say, not at all.
Hilarious. You "know my compatriots"- so you've been to Bethesda, I take it? Or Los Angeles, where I live currently?
Continue to be condescending. Your lack of regard for the people who got Trump elected is EXACTLY what helped them make their decision.
Keep digging that grave and stereotyping. Just let me grab the popcorn first.
Why indeed I have! In fact, I've lived in both Bethesda and Cali (though admittedly spent most of my time up north rather than LA). But those aren't your compatriots any more, brother. (You might have noticed that MD and CA are deep blue and might have further noticed that college-educated voters went strongly for HRC.)
I suspect you know this. In fact, I imagine that you're afraid to disclose your Trump support to colleagues, friends, and perhaps even family. So, you can continue to wear the uniform, but you've jumped to the other team.
You are no longer one of us, you're one of them. You can continue to hide it if you'd like to keep up appearances--I imagine that would make your life easier. But in fact and in spirit, your compatriots are now the Bubbas from Brewton and the Wolskis from Waukesha.
Own it, enjoy it. God knows I am.
My compatriots are the people I grew up with and/or live with. You can try to lump me in with people I'm not familiar with- if that makes you feel better, knock yourself out. I know you sure need the soothing after being walloped only two days ago.
But, again, the smug condescension you show towards people who you seem to characterize as poor and uneducated gives you absolutely NO leg to stand on in terms of claiming to be in any way compassionate towards disadvantaged groups. You are a bigoted jerk- own that revel in it, admit it. Because everyone already knows, and, again, it's why you lost. Karma came and smacked you right across the face.
I'm "no longer one of you"- God, I hope so. And honestly, I never was. Compassionless douchebags such as yourself- no one wants to be in your club or team. And the more you speak, the less we like you.
Deal with that.
Oh, this is priceless. Made my day. Now you admit that you're "not familiar" with the folks who elected Trump, but purport to know why they voted as they did? You're confused, brother.
Bigoted? Moi? Surely you jest. I judge strictly based on merit without regard to race, creed, or gender. In this regard, I'm much like the Donald.
But the best part of your post is your silence on whether you're willing to openly proclaim your support for Trump. C'mon, I'm sure those that you grew up with and live with would be understanding. Have courage, man! They're you're compatriots!
Or perhaps you're not so sure that they'd still feel the same way about you?
Suggest that you spend some time with your new friends--sounds like you can't count on the old ones anymore. That is, unless you want to stay in the closet.
You are (incorrectly) classifying Trump supporters as being essentially the white rural poor, a group I have not had the privilege of becoming intimately acquainted with, certainly not to the point that I would feel "entitled" to call them my compatriots. However, any time I have been in those parts of the country, I have been stuck by their kindness, grace, good manners, and wonderful social skills, blessings you seem to sorely lack. Work on that.
I was silent on that because I mainly skim over the BS you post, since I find most of it to be pedantic garbage.
But I absolutely talk with my friends and acquaintances and family about who I'm voting for and they know exactly how I feel and where I stand.
Sorry to burst your bubble- not everyone who is "lucky" enough to live in Bethesda or LA (or any urban area, which you seem embarrassingly fixated on) hates Trump with a burning passion. Nor do they hate poor people, that seems to be a trait unique to yourself. Kind of makes me wonder about what happened to you to make you such a hateful douche. History of childhood bullying by some poor kids, or something? It's really weird.
You're just twisting yourself in knots here, Bubba. Let's see if we can reason together and get this sorted out:
-YOU are the one who brought up the urban areas--I simply had the courtesy to respond to your question. I'm afraid that it's you who is embarrassingly fixated on same.
-Trump's supporters ARE disproportionately white, under-educated, and poor. Sorry if you don't like it, but them's the facts.
-I don't hate these people at all, but I do judge them. This is Trump's America, right? A meritocracy? But I'm supposed to be PC and not tell it like it is? I'm confused, Bubba. Help me out. Are we supposed to be PC only with poor whites but not any other group?
-It's cute that you pretend to be an "open" Trump supporter. Best of luck to you.
-Since you've cast your lot with the poor white South, you really ought spend some time there. I'd enjoy hearing about your experience.
Uh, no. Trump won every income bracket above $50K (Clinton won under $30K and $30k-$49,000). He won more Latinos than Obama did.
Keep making shit up about how backwards Trump supporters are, though. Your party is going to become even less relevant than it already is

Don't spoil his fun though. Mom let him use the computer for the day, and he's having a grand old time.
Well, Ma's dead, so I don't have to ask her permission. But I am having a grand old time.
BTW, you might want to check on the voting results by education level and carefully consider the meaning of the word "disproportionately" as utilized above.
And his dad let him out of his chores for the day so long as he cleans his basement. He's really feeling jazzed
Daddy run off with the preacher's wife, but the cellar sure does need a cleaning.
Haven't had this much fun in at least 72 hours. Thanks, y'all!
Not even on 4chan?
It's been entertaining for all of us, I think!
I'm too old for 4Chan, but I'm sure young at heart. Keeps the pep in the step, you know?
Y'all take care now.
Oh. But you would fit in so well! Fit the personality type exactly!
I haven't bothered to read this entire insipid thread, but I do wonder what the reaction would be if the title was, "That's it, I don't give a Sh#t about non-educated blacks."

Actually it was white women who gave Trump the victory. Now we can not have a thread about that...could you image that thread- "That's it, I don't give a sh#t about white women".
Yes white women and white men are stupid for voting for Trump. And, I get what you mean OP. No one blames uneducated whites for not taking on personal responsibility. Everyone rails vs. blacks and other minorities for the same thing and for popping out babies when they can't afford them. Poor whites get a free pass

Uh, that thread actually existed and went for many pages. Don't talk out your ass.

Here is the thread that you wanted so badly. What you appear to not understand is that it's always okay to crap on white people, whether they're male or female.
Anonymous wrote:I must say it's interesting that all my white relatives, of varying income and education levels, rail against low income black people and other minorities and ask, "what about personal responsibility?"
Yet apparently unemployed whites in the rust belt don't have to be personally responsible for their fate.

How long would a thread stay up titled "That's it, I don't give a Sh#t about non-educated blacks" even if it is readily apparent in society's day to day actions.

Has the OP been called out for his/her racism?
Like most arrogant white fools who run their mouths, you know jack squat about racism.

So the God you serve is weak? If your God is what you say he is surely he does not need you to write the laws for him to make sure others do as he says. Right?
This is starting to depart from the Political forum to the Religious but they are intertwined so hopefully we won't get "The Warning Finger of Doom" by the dreaded JSteele.
God is not weak. Humans are given free will to live as they choose.
Choose life so that you and your descendants may live, loving the Lord your God, obeying him, and holding fast to him; for that means life to you and length of days... --Deuteronomy 30:19
We get to choose the laws we uphold or discard. God gives us that choice. We are not robots. God has give us the laws and set them plainly before us. It is up to us to decide to obey or not, and
our decision will result in good or bad consequences.
Lol you so classic! You don't want to mix politics and religion when you have to answer tough questions..
All I was saying is, the thread was becoming more religious than political and could have been considered off topic, but I was not trying to avoid your question just remain within the rules of the moderator
You say you God writes the rules and is in control. ---Yes, God is in control but allows us to choose whether to obey or not.
You say people have a choice in if they want to follow God's rules for their lies or not, so why then are you through your vote trying to force others to follow God's rules instead of following the rules for your life ?
I do follow the rules for my life and obey the commandments of God. However, when those around me do not obey then I have to witness and receive collateral damage from their wickedness such as an impaired economy, seeing miserable single mothers or women emotionally messed up from killing their unborn children, or other things. If I can, through the human govt. have them enact laws that mirror as close as possible God's laws, I can force those people. albeit unwillingly, to obey God to some degree. It makes my surroundings better, and it is compassionate for those other people who do not understand it is in their best interest to obey God.
Saying you need to vote xyz for your beliefs for your God makes it seem like you think your God week and unable to see that his rules are followed.
It makes it seem as though you don't trust your God to take care of things.
It makes it seem as you are weak yourself, if you need all laws in your favor in order to follow your God and your religion
Nope, God is totally in charge and has everything taken care of. Every possible move every molecule on the planet can move is known by God and the end result of God's intentions for mankind will take all of these possible moves into account. The final result will be all of mankind will obey God one or way another, either willingly or unwillingly through a government.
I have to live with the consequences of my choices, and I have to live with the consequences of other people's choices which can impact me. I do not live in a bubble separated from everyone. So, me voting is to try and elect people who will uphold righteousness is the right thing to do. I have to live on this planet and so I am going to associate with and elect leaders who will, to me, make my short stay here as good as possible.
