This might me the most impressive one I've seen. Nice job, kid.

Not IN

The GBRS comments and the Ratings are so conflicting. The comment says the kid is consistently doing good. Comments for all the 4 sections says our kid is a consistent top performer in the class, but the rating given are 1 or 2. It sounds more like the teacher thinks 1 is the top??? The report card submitted are all almost 4.

What should be the ideal comment for 1 and 4

That would be worth asking the AART for clarification.

Yeah that's what I am thinking, but will they accept is this is a real mistake??

The WISC here is huge! Where'd you get the test administered?

Got Letter today and She is 'IN'.

NNAT : 152
CoGAT : 137
GBRS : 7

We were so worried after seeing the GBRS , coz she is a consistent good performer in the class and always scoring 4 in the test. I was wondering what made the teacher to give such a low score .(She is quiet in class)
Then I was searching in the internet to find someone who got in with a GBRS of 7. But I could fine none. Until I see the letter, I was not expecting her to be in with this GBRS.

This is the reason, I posted this result here. Atleast this score will help someone in future / will help them to get some relief.

All the best for to those who still awaiting the letters.

One of the testing places in DC that was recommended by the private school where DD applied to. Her WIPSI (sp?) score a few years ago was roughly the same/a bit higher.

Omg I don't get it! Why not in? GBRS is so subjective.

Yes. In.

NNAT: 115
Cogat: 120
GBRS: 10

Is WISC-V score correlated to Cogat? Is there a threshold WISC-V score to make it worth an appeal?

Based on old threads 130 - 132 is a possible. 133+ is almost certain

Do you think I should file appeal?

No.

I think you shoukd wait, give your kid time to mature, and if the child shows a big jump in ability next year then request a retest in fourth grade. If the scores go up significantly, tyen refer again for fifth grade or middle school admittance.

Don't listen to this. Why not file an appeal? I would want to know I did everything I could to try.

In. I think the WISC saved us which is why I submitted it with the original packet.

Geez, this is just ridiculous. There are so many low scores that were accepted and a child with outstanding scores did not. At least you know your child will do amazing in the WISC. Sorry PP
