LOL! They invested in Big Baby to thwart Big Medicine. |
LOL. Probably one pissed off she couldn't do a vaginal exam every 5 minutes on a woman wearing pants. |
So you are willing to crap and bleed all over your own house, but you are worried about your modesty in the process? Are you planning on filling a baby pool of your own bodily functions in your living room, Because it allows you the option to wear yoga Pants in the process. Good thinking! |

I didn't poop in labor and I didn't bleed all over my house. Just because you were gross doesn't mean everyone is. |
Agreed. |
Congrats for being both smug, mean, and completely lacking in empathy - this is why some people Bring a bad name to home birth. Your a home birth bitch. Like someone can HELP it if they bleed or poop during labor. |
Actually, I ended up with a c-section (hence the planned homebirth part), but hang on, because you accused me of bleeding and shitting all over my house, and all I did was say it never happened. And yes, bleeding and pooping all our your house or the hospital room is nasty and unnecessary. Use a chux pad, for crying out loud. |
| Holy shit this thread. I knew something was up when I saw 12 pages about a hospital town. Glad I clicked. Carry on, ladies. |
One doesn't traditionally wear pants or chux at delivery. |
Of course you deliver over chux pads. |
Wow, you really have no idea how things can happen with a vaginal birth. For one, labor causes a lot of women to throw up. When my best friend told me she did I thought it was weird...until I uncontrollably did until my stomach was empty. As far a pooping, I have no idea if I did or didn't but since you push a baby out like one would deficate it also often happens. As far as bleeding...I don't even know where to begin with that one. You are delivering a person and a placenta, blood comes out. Please please tell me how these things are unnecessary. No one wants them to happen but they kind of do. |
| It's gonna be really funny when y'all look back at this when you have teenagers. -older mom who clicked on wrong forum and got sucked in |
It's funny now to look at how judgy and condescending you are. |
+1 I switched to comfy yoga pants/nursing shirt after the first 24 hours (c/s) and was sooooo much more comfortable. Didn't need to change clothes constantly either. Just once again when we left the next day. |
