This is why I planned a homebirth. No one cared that I labored in yoga pants and a tank top and no one tried to force a completely immodest gown on me.
So you are willing to crap and bleed all over your own house, but you are worried about your modesty in the process? Are you planning on filling a baby pool of your own bodily functions in your living room, Because it allows you the option to wear yoga Pants in the process. Good thinking!
I didn't poop in labor and I didn't bleed all over my house. Just because you were gross doesn't mean everyone is.
Congrats for being both smug, mean, and completely lacking in empathy - this is why some people Bring a bad name to home birth. Your a home birth bitch. Like someone can HELP it if they bleed or poop during labor.
Actually, I ended up with a c-section (hence the planned homebirth part), but hang on, because you accused me of bleeding and shitting all over my house, and all I did was say it never happened. And yes, bleeding and pooping all our your house or the hospital room is nasty and unnecessary. Use a chux pad, for crying out loud.
Wow, you really have no idea how things can happen with a vaginal birth. For one, labor causes a lot of women to throw up. When my best friend told me she did I thought it was weird...until I uncontrollably did until my stomach was empty. As far a pooping, I have no idea if I did or didn't but since you push a baby out like one would deficate it also often happens. As far as bleeding...I don't even know where to begin with that one. You are delivering a person and a placenta, blood comes out. Please please tell me how these things are unnecessary. No one wants them to happen but they kind of do.
