LMAO! That was a good episode too!

I don't understand the focus on Margaret, with less than one season remaining. Why do we care, unless it gets Roger & her mom back together . . . but still, not very exciting.

I think Betty is Borderline - everything is all about her and how she is perceived, she isn't able to have empathy for her kids, she can never be happy regardless of what she has.

I think Peggy is just pissed in general that she's back at her old firm & stuck working under another man (Lou) who won't give her the recognition she's earned. She doesn't want Don around because she doesn't want to be working with or under him either (burned bridges).

Both Betty and Megan have personality disorders!

HAHAHA! the scene that did it for me was betty and glen watching tv like two little kids. this was even before she gave him a lock of her hair that i knew she was missing something.

megan has no backside to speak of and horrible posture. you want that?

she's got what we call long back and a crack!

still i think she's very very pretty minus no-ass and the teeth.

Posture and teeth aside, yes.

When Ginsburg was in Peggy's office, I noticed that the dress Peggy wore last week in Monolith was in a dry cleaning bag on the back of her door. That was a cute detail, but then Ginsburg gave her his "present". So gross!

If you page through their review of this episode, they include a portion of a prior review from last season talking about Ginsburg's mental instability (which might be the episode your DH was remembering).

Wow, totally forgot about Ginsberg talking about Mars and all that. Those guys are right, his mental illness has been hinted at for quite a while.

Too bad about Ginsburg. I will really miss him on the show. And I have to say, I really did NOT see that coming.

I felt so bad for little Bobby! And Betty's awfulness makes it clear way Sally dislikes her. Suddenly Betty wants to voice her opinion, while previously she was happy to just stand by her man and be a pretty face. I guess her real estate friend really got to her.

"In last night’s episode, we also see that Stephanie is 7 months pregnant, and she mentions to Megan that the father is a musician she met in the Bay Area who spent some time in jail. This describes Charles Manson (a musician who lived in the Bay Area who was arrested in 1968 for possession) perfectly. http://uproxx.com/tv/2014/05/matthew-weiner-is-still-trolling-mad-men-theorists-with-even-more-charles-manson-allusions/ "

That link mentions that the blonde hitting on Don in the restaurant in a recent episode was reminiscent of Stephanie to keep her in our minds! So pp who thought that was Stephanie was right in picking up the similarity.

Betty was completely in the wrong there, but the actress she slapped bugged me so much that I was glad she did it.

The scene last week with Peggy and the neighbor boy reminded me of the weird Betty-Glen relationship!!

Okay, that episode was out.of.this.world amazing! Loved every scene. My favorite was Bob's proposal to Joan. So if you tell a woman she's old and you want her to be your beard, that will woo her??? Her response was great.

And that final scene at the "family" table at Burger chef was perfect.

Loved, loved, loved this episode! I'm puzzling about Megan's visit to NY -- why did she show up, and what's her next move? I didn't get that. But I have to say, Peggy's story has had me engrossed all season and I was so pleased that it went in the direction that it did tonight. Of course, now that we're up to the mid season finale, no doubt all the pieces will get jumbled around again.

Okay, so I don't watch Mad Men, but saw this posted on FB and thought some of you might enjoy it.

Can't believe how they skipped right over the Kennedy assassination. They made a bigger deal about Marylin Monroe dying and the Chicago riots.

Megan is planning to leave Don? She doesn't seem to want him back in CA and she is packing up her NY life.

Wonder if Pete will come back to NY? Maybe time for another new agency, Pete, Don, Roger, and Peggy in CA?

Why was Joan so against Harry Crane becoming a partner? Doesn't it make sense? Was there some tension from when Joan slept with the car guy?

Perhaps you need to invest in a history book. The year that this season is taking place is 1969. JFK was assassinated in 1963; RFK in 1968. There was no Kennedy assassination in 1969. Don was looking a newspaper that Megan had either saved or found in the closet as she was going through its contents to "pack up her life."
