Returning this thread to its heartland, I noticed today that there is a Chico's in Chevy Chase on Wisconsin. I'd never heard of Chico's until this thread, but now understand that if I enter one there is no turning back from the distinctive dowdiness that justifies the lack of dad eye candy at Janney (and, despite weak protestations to the contrary, at Hearst and other Upper NW schools).

So what is it about Chico's clothing that leads on inexorably to looking old and plain?

I truly believe the same person have responding as both a woman and a man from pages 10 thru 12. The responses have been weird. Every school probably have their resident hotties, from teacher to parent. The thread was fun. Now, it has become the rantings of mad man.

no, danskos have been around forever...they are just a really comfortable shoe that comes in all kinds of colors and patterns. they cost a mint, but are totally worth it!
