OK, this is definitely not an education question, but it does have to do with a DC public school. Fellow Janney moms, is it me or is the Janney community really lacking in the Janney dad eye candy category? Love the school, but as a sahm I wish there was more to look at. I know many Janney families got started making or adopting babies late, but even so...
Your spouse doesn't qualify? |
My husband also used to wear the FiveFinger shoes a few years ago because of the supposed benefits to running nearly barefoot (he does triathlons, Crossfit, etc.), and I was also mortified. Luckily, he's since tossed them due to shin splints or something. Here's the newest fad--fat-soled shoes. Maybe the hotties at Janney will show up in these next: Barefoot runners, your time is up. Fat-soled running shoes are the next thing. http://www.washingtonpost.com/times-up-barefoot-runners-make-way-for-fat-soled-running-shoes/2014/06/09/763bb0d5-0a1c-4c79-a9df-b64f4ebcb54b_story.html?wpmk=MK0000205 |
Was at soccer game yesterday. Hot dads at Oyster. |
Anyone see the mom today with the ridiculously tight top? |
The new crop of moms are younger, more stylish than the peri menopausal moms of six years ago. |
That was me! Let me know if you want to borrow it! |
says a Birkenstock wearing, no make-up, natural look Ph.D. mom ![]() |
I'm just imagining the typical Janney parents as Kath and Dave from Portlandia. |
Not sure how i landed here but this is one of the wildest threads on this website |
Thanks for reminding me that I've been reading DCUM for over ten years. I hate myself for that. |
Seriously, this thread was how I first heard about DCUM. My then Janney kids are now graduating college. Let this one go. |
Ooooh I never knew about this! Current Janney parent here: There are some good looking moms and 1-2 attractive dads. But on the whole it's a profoundly broken looking group of men. |
You literally revived the thread. You must have searched for it. WDYM you don't know how you landed here? |
Thread started in 2012. OP is prolly a grandparent by now. |
And what about the women and their unplucked chin hairs? |
