1. deal with it by socializing with people who aren't like this, support immigrant communities and protect your meat health by not unnecessarily going down SM rabbit holes of people who espouse hate.

2.practically, renew your links with your home country, find another place to move and send your kids out off the country. its bad for your mental health to feel unwanted and the rest of the world has caught up enormously. it used to be that no matter how wealthy you were- you just didn't have access to technology, foreign foods, good education like you had in the USA but that is increasingly not true. the upper middle class in most developing countries has a much higher standard of living than the US.

-I am especially thinking of people who come from someplace like Pakistan or Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile, Brazil, India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Malaysia, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Cape Town, Chechia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Latvia, Estonia, Albania, Türkiye, Nigeria, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia. Algeria etc.. if you have an UMC income there and property .. you can have a VERY good life and not worry about facing micro aggressions. with a smaller amount of money you can invest and follow your entrepreneurial dreams- your kids can get an excellent education and be more competitive in the University wars especially since they have US citizenship. There is no real reason to stay here unless you are gay or Ahmadi or trans or something that makes living in these countries difficult. you can also slowly liberalize these countries from within just by bringing american efficiency and know how plus socializing within your family and community will allow you to soften the edges of harmful traditionalism and make these countries more successful and just better places to live where people can stay and thrive. Do not just send $$ home- take the education and training and entrepreneurial spirit you learned from the USA and transplant it there. ppl in these countries know how to work hard and can really support a much higher quality of life.
