Do a better job convincing people that one candidate is just a tad better than the other. When there is little daylight between them except the color of their shirts, you lose people. You *might* get people to vote for your candidate, but they will not support them. For example, voting for Spanberger is almost a guarantee that the Tyson’s casino will happen, which is NOT in the interests of Fairfax residents or businesses especially in Tysons. It will create construction jobs temporarily and we lose tech and other workers to casino workers. This doesn’t even address other issues that tend to go along with casinos.

Do a better job with your propagandizing. Yes, appealing to Democrats’ sense of moral superiority was very effective in getting them to sit out previous elections. We have all seen the disastrous consequences of those decisions. Hopefully the voters have grown up a bit and learned some pragmatism.
