It's always been a thing. It's even mentioned in tons of movies or tv programs. |
This is supposedly how Jennifer Levin died in the 1980s (the Preppy Murder if you recall). |
Says who? Sounds like your personal opinion but not everybody should or does think the same. |
Should have shut it down right then. Time for a come to Jesus talk and that IS his only warning, or you're gone |
Says anyone with a speck of decency. Strangulation leads to death. It the act of trying to kill someone. Having any sexual pleasure attached to an act that any non-insane person would equate with attempted murder is depraved. It is next level. Would you say holding a loaded gun to someone's head during sex was also okay? FFS people defending this practice are demented. |
DP, but that's a kink also. Knifeplay is huge it seems. I'd wager money even celebs like Angelina Jolie held a knife to Pitt or made him do that to her. |
Nicking someone with a knife is a LOT less dangerous than choking. |
Doesn’t mean it’s not sick thing done by a couple who are respectively dangerous and damaged. |
If a woman who was so physically affectionate with her brother that it raised eyebrows; wore a necklace that contained a vial of her lover’s blood; and had one of the most protracted divorces in history does it, it must be totally mainstream. |
But op expressly said she doesn't like being choked. And her husband does it anyway, and then proceeded to do it so hard that she became terrified. That's not a healthy kink. That's abuse. |
Nicking someone on the neck? |
I recall a study that women whose partners abused them by strangulation had years of brain injury and other issues afterwards.

I think this is a troll post. Who on earth will allow to be choked a bit. You have to be sick to let that happen in the XXI century. |
Yes, you are trolling. It's a common kink. Nobody believes you don't know about it. |
Fair point. Though only if the knife is rather dull. A sharp one is like a razor, and very little pressure is needed to cut deep, and the jugular is not that deep. That risk is the reward for some women and men who like the danger. |
