They could, but it would be faster and more effective with assistance. The likely role of the U.S. will be supplemental air defense; the IDF can deliver ordnance by itself without much trouble, no B-52s are really needed. ISrael of course has nuclear weapons, too, but also has the restraint to not use them except in extremis, something which seems hardly likely the Iranians would do it they had such a capability.

If you know anything about foreign affairs and the Middle East, you would know this is EXACTLY what happened. Trump wanted Israel to do this and we should all be giving Israel a big thank you for saving the western world. Believe me, you did not want Iran to have nukes. So far, the Middle East suffered from the western world a lot more than the other way round.

The Middle East and US were friends for centuries until the mid 20th century and still are friends today so “Islam hates us” doesn’t work unless Islam started in 1948. We know what caused the problem

The exploding pagers attack was an example of weakness on the part of Israel. It killed more civilians than anything and it showed Israel doesn’t have the stomach for boots on the ground only far off strikes from a guy on a desktop ordering hits.

It was well reported even by Reuters that they suffered major L’s during their 48 hour ground invasion of Lebanon days after 10/7 (you know, the invasion they cut and run from?)

10/7 showed Israel has weak ground game and it’s why they know they can’t enter Iran. They don’t even have the manpower to do it. The IDF is babysitting settlers in the West Bank and still in Gaza.

No war is won on technological grounds. You would think Afghanistan, Yemen, and Somalia would show this to people. These people are battle tested and not afraid to die. Like the Soviet general said about Afghanistan, how do you beat a guy who looks down the barrel of the gun and sees heaven? They would rather self immolate than lose their country to the West. Israel’s soldiers are disheartened by Netanyahu, Americans soldiers are even more disheartened by the entire ME. The fortitude and endurance is not there to fight a long drawn out war.

The Uyghur region is home to natural uranium. The Uyghurs are also put in work camps linked to uranium mining and they don’t get protection from radioactive material. They have 30% higher cancer rates due to the factories there. A third of China’s uranium comes from the Uyghur region
